Review 1：The room size and the quality of the facilities were good. We stayed only overnight on this trip, but we did walk around the town and to the lake which was very enjoyable. There is so much history within a short distance of the motel.

Review 2：We stayed here for 2 nights to go to Sovereign Hill, is in a great location just a quick walk into town, rooms were modern and clean and staff friendly.

Review 5：An excellent well maintained property with very helpful and friendly staff. We stayed in the 4 bedroom house which was great, except that the windows of some bedrooms are close to the attached hotel next door and they get the noise from people outside smoking and coming and going. Otherwise we loved the property, but as some of the group got a poor nights sleep I've rated down the location. May not be an issue during the week, we were there Saturday night, and probably not in the other rooms which are further back. The property is central in Ballarat and close to station, restaurants etc.

Review 20：Friendly and courteous greeting. The offer to carry our bags upstairs, information regarding the room and also took the initiative to put the heater on in our room. Nothing was a bother at all.

Review 21：Housekeeping staff could have done a better job! Also we were in the only downstairs room - whilst it has a courtyard and it's own car space and you don't have to lug bags up and down stairs - we think a team of large men from Lord of the Dance were staying in the room above us! I guess this was just unlucky!

The staff at both the motel & pub were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room had an brilliant kitchenette , with a full size fridge. If you were looking to stay in the very centre of Ballarat we found it to be about a 500mt comfortable walk. Would highly recommend

Review 65：Very quiet large rooms. We had dinner at the pub which is part of the complex the staff were very friendly and we had a lovely tapas meal. There was a mixup with breakfast but it was rectified very quickly.

Review 69：This is motel style accommodation taken to the next level. Luxury spa suite was huge including large bathroom (separate bath/shower) and seating area as well as full kitchen facilities. Really comfy couch. Plenty of towels and toiletries supplied. It was a bonus to be able to get room service from downstairs cafe. Quiet location on leafy Lydiard Street, two minutes walk from train station and ten minutes to centre of town. Free wifi.

Although an Older styled home, it was not lacking in all things that make your stay very comfortable. Everything has been thought of.
