Reviews for Albergo Lavagnese

Review 1:Nothing at all.

Review 2:Staff were terrific. Room nice, very clean. Also the best restaurant on the premises, terrific food, good prices, guests get 15% discount too.

Review 3:The reception is only open from 9 a.m. 10 p.m. (it is found in the restaurant, which is actually the same property as the hotel). Eventually it was ok for us, but it might be inconvenient for other travellers, be aware!

Review 4:Everything was fine, modest room, modest breakfast. There was nothing bad to complain about, but nothing that would go beyond our expectations either. The staff were very friendly (and spoke decent English, which is not necessarily the case in hotels like this one).

Review 5:No air condition, no fridge in the room, no parking place.

Review 6:Friendly welcome, great room. Good location in the heart of the old town centre, and walking distance to the beach.

Review 7:Everything was really great except air conditioning would have been appreciated as the nights were hot and impossible to get a through draught.

Review 8:The hotel was close to the train station, the main shopping area and in a lovely part of the city. The owner was particularly helpful with interpretating our needs into Italian. We had to leave early in the morning and they put on an early breakfast for us.

Review 9:Tiny room, poor breakfast (no bread or rolls, no eggs).

Review 10:Personel, 50% discount in hotel restaurant.

Review 11:There was no refrigerator in the room

Review 12:Super helpful and friendly staff. The albergo belongs to a restaurant with amazing seafood. Great!

Review 13:The bedroom itself was pretty dark and a bit shabby.

Review 14:Staff very helpfull and friendly. Let me have a convenient parking spot, which was very good!

Review 15:The shower head could do with replacing

Review 16:Great location fabulous staff very friendly

Review 17:Great facility, staff, and additions. Relaxed stay.

Review 18:Good location, frendly people, properly hotel excellent kitchen reducet price for customers.

Review 19:Lack of parking possibilities, though this is a common problem in every Italian city.

Review 20:The friendly welcoming atmosphere, their fish soup and the position in relation to the railway station.

Review 21:Nice town. A bit difficult to find a parking space for the car. We spend a nice evening walking through the old city and had a fantastic dinner at a tiny local imbiss. We were there in March, so can't say what it would be like in high season, since its on the sea.

Review 22:Only down side was intermittent internet - however, it was terrible weather, which we were told was the cause.

Review 23:Very friendly and relaxed Good breakfast we didn't eat at the restaurant, but wonderful smells filled the hotel. Lovely little garden.

Review 24:The hotel is situated not far from the beach(5-7 minutes walk). The village is not very big, so you can find everything close to the hotel. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was very tasty, especially home-made cakes from the hotel restaurant.

Review 25:Would have liked air conditioning but we still had a great stay

Review 26:The helpful and friendly staff were doing everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We were a bit doubtful about the 2 Star rating, but the staff more than compensated for this. This was a pleasant stay for us.

Review 27:The reception is closed between 3PM and 5PM. So we had to hang around in town with two young and tired kids, although we would have preferred to check-in directly after a long journey.

Review 28:The staff is extremely kind. It felt like coming home every evening. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is OK. A second cup of coffee was no problem. (But we also got a glass of wine for free once.) Lavagna is a good location for trips both in the Cinque Terre (far enough from the crowded places over there) and the Portofino area. Pretty good train connections in both directions. Train station within walking distance: 10-12 min. Lavagna itself is a very quiet place; there's not much to do in May.

Review 29:Staff went above and beyond with excellent service. Best breakfast we had on our entire trip to Italy. Great restaurant.

Review 30:Nice staff good location

Review 31:Difficult to find a parking space

Review 32:Walking distance to down town and restaurants

Review 33:Friendliness of staff. Good food. Well equipped room.

Review 34:Very friendly owner. Excellent Chef. I would highly recommend to stay in this hotel. You must try the food in the restaurant there.

Review 35:Very friendly welcome. Good location near the town centre and beach.

Review 36:Nothing.

Review 37:Very good value for money.
