Budget on the Lake (previously known as Lenwin on the Lake) offers lakeside accommodation in garden surrounds just 5 minutes’ drive from Hamilton’s city centre. All rooms are air conditioned and offer free WiFi.
Sitting opposite Lake Hamilton, Budget on the Lake is within a 10-minute drive from both The Ansett Transport Museum and the Hamilton Golf Club. The Grampians National Park is 75 minutes' drive away.
Each room has heating and offers electric blankets for your comfort. A seating area with cable TV and DVD player is standard in all rooms.
Guests are welcome to use the laundry facilities on site. Pets may be allowed to stay upon request, and conditions apply. There is free parking available on site.

Review 1：Staff excellent and very happy to help you in any way. Location was great and near shops or food places. Facilities in rooms was ideal and rooms were very clean. Room service meals very affordable and were amazing.

Review 2：The bathroom smelled appalling. The tiolet smelled like a public latrine and when we opened the window for fresh air, there was a strong sewerage smell coming from just outside the bathroom window.

Review 10：Tam and Louise were very welcoming. I couldn't believe how comfortable the bed would be. I slept like a baby. I was there on business - so wifi is a necessity - their wifi was fast as what I use at home. Will definitely stay there again.

Review 74：Smokers outside door. Car parks poorly marked causing people to park incorrectly. Toast making facilities caused smoke alarm to sound causing owner to investigate. No spoons or cups in the room.

Review 76：The parking spaces provided outside the units are very narrow. Wecouldn't open our car doors fully on either side to get out andasked to be moved to another unit. The meals on offer (served to yourroom) were are bit pricey for what they were. We chose to go intotown instead.

Review 77：My daughter and I (both mature ladies) had a twin room. Theaccommodation was affordable and basic. It met our needs for anovernight stay. The motel is in a central position opposite the lake -so easy to cross the road and go for a nice walk. Also appreciatedhaving the extra appliances E.G. microwave, toaster etc. The staff mosthelpful as well.

Review 86：But no klinex tissues, no plates, no spoons and forks, and no water glass to drink water. The shower screen was located on the wrong side, so it does not block all the water during shower. The TV screen was not stable.

Review 94：For $110 per night we have stayed in better accommodation. There where holes in the towels. Mattress was too firm. We have special dietary needs and take our our breakfast, they provide a toaster but no knife, plate, no bowl. The heater rattled, the shower leaked all over the floor. The dvd player jammed. Only a couple of TV channels offered for use on AusStar. They came and made the bed and left the mattress protector folder up in the corners, we had to re-make it. Kettle did not fit under bathroom tap for us to have coffee. Paint chipped on walls in bathroom. No exhaust fan in bathroom, so everything steamed up.

Review 95：Unfortunately, there was no hot water for the shower when we arrived around 8 PM after driving all day. Three out of the four of my family were unable to have a shower that night. The staff agreed to grant a discount for the inconvenience, and did try to resolve the problem at the time. The gas heated shower system is shared by two other rooms. I feel this needs to be looked at.
