Review 1：An impression of a cool hostel can be spoiled in a second by a gloomy reception staff. The staff at the reception wasn't helpful and welcoming at all.

Review 2：The hostel is great, and actually it looks like a hotel if not to take into account the dorm rooms. It is very clean. Nice location. Excellent breakfasts and dinners also by the way. The cafe and lounge zone are very comfortable and lovely. The staff in the cafe is awesome.

Review 3：The building itself isn't that welcoming. Like there's no sign or anything. When I got there I wasn't completely sure that it was it and had to search for a little tiny sign that wasn't even lit up to make sure I was at the right place.

Review 11：The location is really near to the nature but also not far away with city. And many bus to the hostel. The breakfast is simple but ok. For the sleeping room, it is clean and tidy. Just don't forget to bring ur lock for locker in the room. Even I can rent one from the reception, very nice service :)

Review 20：I preferred a single room to sleep well for a conference. Neither Booking.com nor the Youth Hostel site explained how to organize a single room. In low season on nights with many empty beds, they offer a 4 person room to one person for the price of 1 person plus 15 euro. When you stay more nights, check per night if they have this "single room" option.

Review 28：Beds in dorm rooms should have numbers and people assigned specific bunks. Coming back late one evening, found some random dude sleeping in my bunk so had to get new linen and switch beds. Roommates drying their smelly socks and underwear on the heater stank up the whole room.

Review 30：We love to meet people during our trips but if you end up in a small room with a guy who is snoring and definitely should take a shower before night things are starting to be more complicated. No opportunity of having double-room is a big disadvantage of that place.

Review 63：It's gonna be an ordeal if you have to get there with heavy luggages. The nearest stop does not seem to be very far away on the map but you have to go through lots of ups and downs from the bus station (Casemate du Bock) to the property. Shuffle service from the central station is only possible if booking in advance. towels and cosmetics are not available unless you buy from them or prepared yourself beforehand.

Review 64：The room and the public spaces including the cafeteria, staircase, and bathroom are absolutely clean. Bar on the ground level serves great beers at acceptable prices, considering you were in a country with highest GDP in the world. A couple of tennis table outside the concourse allow people staying here a great chance to do some exercise. Breakfast is quite enough that you can eat and drink to your content to avoid the steep price for food or beverages elsewhere in the city / country. One can even send there post card at the property, friendly staffs sell stamps and provide mail service.

Review 112：Me and my sister had our booking messed up twice. First they put me in a girl room, then her they put three guys in her all-girl room. Staff were unfriendly and slow to help both rimes. No wifi in the rooms, the rooms were way too hot, and showers weren't great.

Review 114：Hidden costs like renting a towel and a padlock. Guys, bring your own towel and padlock to secure your locker. You will have to deposit 2 euros for your entry card. From central station bus 9 and 14 will take you to the hostel. Bus stop is called Altmunster. Hope it helps.

Review 140：you have to press the button in the shower every 30 seconds (kind of annoying), no wifi in the rooms, there is no privacy in the room (if you turn on the lights you are going to bother your roomates). the breakfast didnt have any fruit! (only cereal and bread, i know its for free but i ended up tired of eating so much bread haha), every day starts with a walk uphill but i guess its ok. lots of kids and families, didnt look like a hostel so much.

Review 142：The staff at reception are rude and incompetent. I got the impression that when I asked a question I was really disrupting something much more important they needed to attend to. This was the case will more than just one person I dealt with. On three occasions I was told to wait for 10minutes before I could be helped, despite the fact that there were 4 staff behind the desk. They always seem to be busy counting the cash register or solving some major problem. They staff were useless.

Review 143：Good location, close to the old city. The hostel is in a nice new building, overall very good facilities, despite having only one washer and drying that the hostel also uses for washing linen. Very nice chill room with couches and TV.
