Review 1：Needs renovation. Price too high for what the hotel/rooms look like.

Review 3：The hotel is close to the port, marina and town centre. The view from the room across to La Maddelena was worth the price and the climb up the stairs.

Review 4：We had a private parking spot allocated to our room - not really the fault of the hotel but other cars tended to park across the access point making it almost impossible to move the car without damaging it and/or others. Breakfast was also unimaginative. Toiletries in hotels in the UK tend to include conditioner and body lotion - only shampoo was provided - although I found this to be true of all our accommodation in Sardinia.

Review 7：The room was well lit and clean and the bed was very comfy. The room in itself was nice the bathroom was clean but wasn't very pretty. The cleaning ladies were great and did a good job of the place. The internet was great!! Also the fact that the staff did not really care whether you came or went and they let us check in early which was also good.

Review 10：Parking can be a little tight since there is no actual lot, just scattered spaces here and there. The gentleman working the front desk in the evening helped us out though, so it wasn't a big problem.

Review 11：The hotel is a bit dated but is still nice. The room could use some new furniture and paint but was still comfortable enough. The air conditioning was strong and worked great during our stay. The panini machine at breakfast was a nice touch. We were happy to have the fresh juice due to the "juice" machine being out of service. The hotel staff did not speak much English but they will try their best to communicate with you! The location is great for the price. You can walk to the harbor in about 3-5 minutes. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay in Palau.

Review 24：This was our first visit to Sardinia and we decided to base ourselves in Palau. On arrival at the hotel, the owner was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and had an amazing view overlooking the town and harbour. Breakfast was typical continental, with a good variety of food available. Our stay was very enjoyable and the price was good. Would definitely go back again.

Review 28：The hotel is situated in a quiet street off the main street but close to the harbour, cafe's, restaurants and the market. The room was quite large and the shower was hot and efficient. Breakfast was quite good.

Review 32：The location is great-within a walking distance to the port and all restaurants. There is also a supermarket nearby. (Within a walking distance) The cheapest room was large and very comfortable.. Green furniture (I didn’t like this design…) but in a good shape and adequate. The room had 1 double bad, a closet and a big chest of drawers, a table and 2 chairs, a big sofa that can be used as a bad and TV. The room was clean , quiet and airy . There is an elevator but we had to climb some steps in addition to the use of the elevator… Eventually we used only the steps… Breakfast was a buffet: Cheese, Hum, sweet spreads, cakes and sweet fresh pastries, bread, buns, several kinds of coffee and juices. Parking was a bit difficult in August but we managed. I recommend this hotel mainly because of the helpful and kind staff, the great location and huge room.

Review 33：We have returned to the hotel for 5 years. The staff are really nice, the breakfast simple but good, the rooms are large and comfortable, it is a 5 minute walk to the town and harbor with boats to the islands. The room we get has a fantastic view. The rooms have a microwave and mini-fridge that is relatively large and makes ice. There is a restaurant, bar and pizza place within a 5 minute walk. Several grocery stores and a bottle store are nearby. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach in front of the moorage. It is quite at night. They provide free parking if they have room. Not sure there much more to want.

Review 74：Breakfast was the least good of the places we stayed in Sardinia. The coffee was poor quality instant. We got one roll each and when we asked for more they said there was no more bread or rolls. Palau is really just a jumping off point for travel to La Maddalena and the other islands so there is not a strong reason to be there at all if you don't want to visit them.

Great balcony where sun doesn't shine so perfect after the entire day sunbathing and also brings some relief in the heat.
