Review 1：restaurant and reception staff very slow, food quality very bad, no food when requested - need to wait for allocated time. Breakfast and dinner very bad food in very a very unpleasant hall.

Review 6：Bathroom was not clean mold around the shower floor, nothing to do in the springtime, far from everything without a car, no heated swimmingpool not even in the surroundings. Food like I read before, very bad 26 euro p/p for a buffet that doesn't deserve the name. Maybe in the high season it could be nice but even the swimming pools etc where not clean and nice, also the surroundings were untended and dirty. Will never go back again.

Review 8：- price/performance was no okay for the dinner - variety of breakfast was not to big (although there was a good see view, but no tables were available outside) - Two restraurants are close to the hotel aread in walking distance (for all other things you need a car/cap) - Due to the fact that the Bugalows are close together, sometimes you can hear your neighbours)

Review 10：Check in at 1600 is really frustrating especially I arrived before 1200. The male receptionist let us wait until 1600 as our room is not ready. He decided from the start that we are going to have a room which is the worse room / view I ever seen in a hotel. I complained to the reception manager who was very helpful. She gave us a better room with a good view immediately. You have to Wait for a long time to speak to a receptionist as they are under pressure. All together I waisted most of the first day because of the room. The open buffi restaurant for dinner is not worth paying considering the quality of food they provide. We stayed in 4 different hotels in Sicily and this hotel is the worse by all standards. In my opinion the hotel is well over rated and it does not deserve more than 6-7. This hotel can be better if they provide a better customer service. The staff should provide the best available facility without being challenged.

Review 12：Really poor and very expensive food. Italian canteen with a high price tag. It amazes me that food can't be better when the cooking facilities are so huge. Like school dinners! There was a flashing smoke alarm positioned right above the bed in our room that flashes a bright white light all night making it impossible to sleep.

Review 20：Must have a car to move around as the hotel has no easy access anywhere on foot. We book a room with sea views upon availability but when arrived they requested 15 €/day extra for sea view. Must have cards for the use of towels and breakfast, which of course are easy to lose and then you have to pay extra (our case 25 € for loosing one towel card). They don´t give extra charges details, so at the end you don´t know what are you paying from the pool bar or restaurant.

Review 21：Very nice location for relaxing holidays, great pool and magnific views. 3 days was enough, after the 3rd there is not much to do.

Review 22：Rooms are noisy ( we had the one facing the pool / sea ). They had animation starting in the morning ( with loud music) all the way till midnight. We have repeated informed the hotel to ask to lower the volume of the music but have repeated been told they cannot do anything about it. The service level is poor in general. If you are looking for a club med type hotel with families ( young children and eldery, this can be the place . But if you are looking for some quiet and peace and relaxing time, then finding other alternatives is better.

Review 42：This is the 2nd time we have been to Zagarella, and both time have been extremely frustrated by the lack of information available to customers. We tried on both occassions to access excursions and also to access local boat trips/snorkelling trips apparently available at the hotel; but it was as though we didn't have the code or it was a well kept secret - extremely frustrating. We don't plan to return mainly because of this - a shame; but the hotel doesn't make the most of it's best asset which is it's immediate environment. The range of food on offer in the hotel was limited; we always dined out and found excellent food at great value in local restaurants, but would happily have eaten at the hotel if they had offered similar menus. So much more could be done to encourage customers to stay on site if the potential was utilised better.

Review 46：The staff isn't very efficient. If you plan on sleeping in after 9am in the mornings avoid getting a room with views as the music and entertainment start very early in the swimmingpool. They try to propose a design kind of hotel but the result is not the expected one. We stayed within the hotel building but saw the independent house one of our friends got and it was much nicer (no ugly vintage-like decoration).

Review 48：They had an awfully loud music playing by the pool all day long that was anything but relaxing. You could hear it even from the rooms. Really annoying. We were in our honeymoon and asked for a little cabana with see view. There was no privacy what so ever: from the terrace we could barely see the sea, instead we had a parade of cleaning staff passing by. I asked to borrow an iron (the ironing service was closed for the day) and they refused to give me one.

Approx 2 km train station Santa Flavia and 16 km from Palermo. The place needed a car.

Review 54：There was not enough parking for the hotel guests and we had to park onthe road outside the hotel grounds the first night. In the morning wefound our tire slashed and we had to go back to the rental agency at theairport. The buffet breakfast was inedible. It was not consistent withthe quality of the hotel. The rooms did not have a coffee or tea pot andthe restaurant did not have any takeout service. Although breakfast wasincluded in the rates we went out for breakfast in the morning.
