Reviews for Villa Sant' Andrea
Review 1:We liked everything!
Review 2:The size of the room and of the balcony. The view from the balcony. The staff's professionalism and friendliness. The atmosphere and decoration of the place.
Review 3:We had problems with theinternet. If you live in the mail building with hotel rooms you have to drive to one of the country houses to use their pool. We got the best room with a big terrasse with beautiful view to the countryside but also the industrial area in the valley. Refrigerator is very small and cannot cool, but we could use the one in their kitchen.
Review 4:We absolutely loved the pools in July with temperatures over 30c. The views from there is stunning.
Review 5:No breakfast served, just tea and basket full of dry things. A check out time of 10 AM was a first for me, not inviting to enjoy a morning in this setting
Review 6:great room and bathroom
Review 7:Needs more access to Western TV channels
Review 8:Central location to Cianti region and access to a Florence was great.
Review 9:It is located a little far away from Florence It takes round 30 mins by drive. The reception is not located at the apartment seperately, it is suitable for travelers with car.
Review 10:Swimming pool is good impressive, and send gift one wine!
Review 11:Rooms are very very basic - minimalist to the extreme. They were described as rustic but that totally oversells the 2 that we stayed in. We did not expect luxury but we did expect better than a 1*. Self catering but no room to store the food you purchase so it has to go on the top of tables. Tiny fridge, no kettle, cooking equipment is adequate at best. In the first room the wardrobe was an actual broom cupboard. Room sizes vary dramatically. We had to move from one property to another and the second apartment was less than the size of the first ones bedroom There are 2 main properties but you have no idea which one you will be put in. One is close to the main building and admin centre (bed and breakfast) and guests from there go to the closest property to use the pool hence there are not enough loungers for guests. The first property we stayed in is accessed by a 1 1/2 km "dirt" road which is in very poor condition. We have stayed 3 times in Tuscany and will go back again one day but not to this place. It Worst apartment(s) that we have rented anywhere in the world. As wIne makers they excel as hoteliers they do not.
Review 12:The 2 reception staff and the staff who cleaned the apartments. 40 mins to Florence The free bottle of wine The pools at both properties Villa Saint Andrea wine
Review 13:Only comment i would remove the little TV from the rooms, no need in this beautiful place, and would replace with mini fridge, so we can put some water, fruits, etc.
Review 14:Great little villa in the heart of Tuscany and Chianti region. Very well decorated room, and nice land all over. Great view from the villa and friendly staff! I recommand this discreet hidden gem, close to many winery and cute little village with great restaurant. Also 25 minute from Florence, which is perfect. We had a great stay.
Review 15:The sofa bed in the living room could be updated for a more comfortable nights sleep.
Review 16:We stayed for three nights on a family trip to Florence. We loved the location, which gave us an easy commute to the city with the added bonus of a really lovely peaceful country location. The apartment was simple but perfect for our needs. The staff were helpful and charming. The main bedroom was large and bright, the best room in the apartment. Great swimming pool, though not deep enough for diving. Beautiful lawn and garden around the buildings, which were great for drinks after a day of sightseeing.
Review 17:No breakfast and no any chance to eat something there. The swimmingpool is not in the same place of the rooms and you have to drive 1.5 km for reach it.
Review 18:The very big and beautiful room in an amazing house. The "welcome" bottle of wine. The landscape and the position.
Review 19:The hotel did not offer breakfast even though it was high season (mid July). This is very inconvenient as there are no cafes, bakeries or other outlets nearby: the hotel stands alone on a hill.
Review 20:Beautiful location, pool with view over the hills, right next to the Florence - Siena highway which is convenient if you wish to visit these cities.
Review 21:We loved our apartment. Great experienced, we will definitely come back!.
Review 22:No breakfast option for rooms only for apartements. Very little and ineffective firdge in the rooms.
Review 23:Extremely kind staff and beautiful surroundings.
Review 24:There was only a very small fridge in the room and no breakfast.
Review 25:Beautiful place, big rooms.
Review 26:No breakfast and the closest resturant is 10 minutes drive by car
Review 27:The huge rooms and country enviroment
Review 28:Very nice stay, but you have to go by car to the pool.
Review 29:-Fantastic setting. -Great staff.
Review 30:Location to Florence, farmhouse feel ,all excellent amenities, plus roomy
Review 31:to far from main highway
Review 32:everthing was very good
