In the heart of the Tuscany’s Chianti region, Relais Riserva di Fizzano is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. This complex of medieval farmhouses has gardens, a traditional restaurant and large pool.
Designed in respect of all original rustic features, apartments boast fine tiled floors, wooden ceilings and large fireplaces. In the comfort of these apartments, shiatsu massages can be booked for the guest.
The Relais also includes an old chapel, a well-equipped play area, and a smaller swimming pool for children. The main swimming pool overlooks the valley, and free Wi-Fi is available in public areas.
Tuscan specialities are served at the restaurant, and breakfast is prepared in a lovely bar area where a light lunch and local wines are also available.
Free guided wine tasting tours are offered once a week, and staff is ready to arrange visits to nearby attractions. Bikes can be rented at reception.
The hotel is within a few kilometres of Poggibonsi and Castellina in Chianti and also less than an hour’s drive from Siena (18.6 miles) and Florence (28 miles).

Review 1：The grounds and views at Fizzano are gorgeous, but the staff is really want we loved most about the property. They took such good care of us and had brillant recommendations for food and activities. They truely helped to make our stay in Tuscany amazing. It was the highlight of our 2 week tour of Italy!

Review 10：We loved the food and atmosphere. Very beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. The pool area was very comfortable with just the right amount of people. It was a nice atmosphere with children because there were other children with families and the kids all enjoyed themselves without feeling like they were disturbing anyone. That being said, it was still not too loud and relaxing. We liked that the pool and restaurant were separate, so the pool did not need to close at meal times. The views were spectacular and the grounds kept well. The apartment had everything we needed, but could have had a more comfortable sofa area. Also, I would have a loved a table of our own outside, but the community areas with tables were very nice.The beds were not that comfortable, but charming. The barbecue evening was very nice as well.

Review 19：The staff at Relais Riserva di Fizzano are to be recommended firstly for providing excellent instructions on how to get to this location. We drove from Florence airport and found it with no problems. On checking in we were greeted by the staff and made to feel at home right away. We were very pleased with the cleanliness, the amenities and the phenomenal views from our accommodations. The grounds are well kept with a very well maintained pool area. We ate several suppers at the restaurant on site and the quality of the food and wine was exceptional as was the service. One evening we made our own supper and ate on the grounds and the restaurant served us soup with our own meal which you will rarely find a restaurant willing to accommodate guests in such a way. Another surprise was the qulaity of the wine and the great value of it. The wine in the restaurant costs the same price as the wine you can buy at the winery. Speaking of the winery we went on a wine tasting at Rocca delle Macie and ending up buying 10 bottles of wine and 4 bottles of the best olive oil I have ever tasted. We will definitely return to enjoy these great accommodations and location.

Review 20：Didn't know we really needed to self cater and stock our room. Finding a place to shop for supplies was difficult. A suggestion in where to get supplies when we arrived would have been helpful.

Review 24：Tuscany at it's magnificent best. GPS almost essential to find this place but if you use coordinates on Booking.com it's a piece of cake. Wonderful friendly staff, watching the restaurant staff flitt effortlessly between 4 different languages was a delight. Less than hour to Siena and Florence.

Review 26：Falities are excellent and wineyards around are really lovely. Staff has a very positive attitude all the time. Its location permits to visit several small old towns around like San Gimigniano, Gaiole, Castellina in Chianti and others. Two or three of them in one day. Wine produced by the owners of this faclity is also excellent as well to visit its winery. Rocca delle Macie. At night is quiet silence and you can enjoy a sky full of stars.

Review 27：The weather was very chilly for May and we needed to ask to have the heat turned on. This is not a negative, just a "heads-up" It is important to have a car and maps when staying here as you are out in the countryside which is what we wanted.

Review 28：This is the second time we have stayed at Reserva di Fizzano. This time we stayed in a lovely and quaint 2 bedroom apartment. It was very clean and the staff was attentive. Breakfast was varied and we enjoyed dinners in the restaurant twice. The ladies at the desk were helpful with maps and interesting areas to visit and we took advantage of the wine tour and tasting.
