Reviews for Walther von der Vogelweide
Review 1:Central place in Chiusa which seems to be well frequented by the locals. Comfortable room with all amenities. Great choice of breakfast with meat and cheese cuts, fruit and yoghurt, jams, sweets and of course coffee. Very efficient and personalized service. Good local food e.g Goulash soup and Tiramisu!
Review 2:Noise from main highway. We stayed on the top of building so the room window was open to the highway.
Review 3:Hotel located just on main road - pedestrians only. Old house with good atmosphere. We had large room just under the roof. Fortunately it was not so hot like other days. Breakfast - great selection in buffet served on the terrace.
Review 4:A little bit warm in summer time without th air conditioning.
Review 5:Good location, very convenient and clean. The room is quiet and the brackfast is perfect.
Review 6:Nothing to mention.
Review 7:Personal attention by staff and management. Succeeded in making us feel at home, despite language barriers. Interior design and layout. Success in marrying the old with the modern.
Review 8:Located in the pedastrian zone so if you travel by car GPS wants to lead you there. You need to park tthe car outside the centre and walk to the hotel (cca 200m)
Review 9:located in the centre of a beautiful historical city, clean and very comfortable rooms nice and helpful staff
Review 10:the parking area is with charge, not allot but still and inside the hotell because its an old building you need to carry everything by stairs. FOr us it was no problem but i guess some people would mind.

Review 13:The owner and hotel is very nice.
Review 14:When I booked this hotel for one night final stay in our trip across Sued Tirol I expected smth special, according to the description and photos - but it turned out to be the worst experience. Hotel staff was very unfriendly, they didn't smile at all and looked rather displeased when we arrived. There was a sweaty Asian boy who was running around doing practically everything: checking-in guests, taking luggage upstairs, answering the phone, cleaning up the lounge zone and serving food at the restaurant (!!!) while the others were just staying around watching him and giving him orders. The room, although very big, was very plain and "double" bed was a real disaster: it consisted of the two bed quality mattresses which were sliding apart during night, also i could feel every spring. Breakfast was ok, with strawberries and freshly baked croissants and home-made jam - but the constant running of the staff to and fro ( as the staff entrance is right in the middle of the breakfast area) was very annoying. To top it all off, when we were checking-out, the woman at the reception (if you can call so a tiny bureau under the stairs) didn't want to give change for a 500 euro note and again she seemed so discontented, nobody asked our opinion about the hotel, nobody said good-bye, not a single smile - it was so weird in comparison to the hospitality of the owners and managers of the other places where we stayed in Sued Tirol. I wouldn't recommend staying in this hotel, especially considering their prices.
Review 15:Not a thing.
Review 16:I liked everything about this place. The owners were there working non-stop, and were always friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, very cool atmosphere, very nice dinners. Right in the middle of Chiusa, cute little village. Although the whole experience was fantastic, I must say that the owners really make the place what it is.
Review 17:Breakfast was excellent
Review 18:Noisy at night and no air conditioner.
Review 19:Staff people were very kind and helpful.
