Review 1：Let me be honest, I never (ever) write reviews for anything but I have to do it for La Rosa dei Venti. They were truly an amazing experience.. Not only the staff but also the hotel. From the beginning, they pick you up at the airport and welcome you to Lampedusa. The check in process is seamless and they show you around the beautiful (5star quality) resort. Everything in the room is clean and ready for you- there even is a minibar (juices, sodas, water). The pool is incredible! They also provide you with a car (given that you have a valid driver's license) or a scooter for you to use during your stay (at no extra cost!). Obviously before you leave you have to make sure you fill the gas but that's a given considering they let you use it at your leisure. In the mornings from 8-10:30am they serve breakfast.. A good selection of local pastries, cereal, yogurt, juices, fruit, coffee and tea. You couldn't really ask for more! For lunch and dinner- since they are not included.. You can check out the center of Lampedusa which has multiple restaurants with great selection of seafood and pasta. For dinner, there is a trattoria that serves homemade dinners for a good price (and its close to the hotel!). For those of you visiting the beautiful beaches of this island.. I highly recommend the Isola dei Conigli! It was a breathtaking beach with clear waters. Truly amazing! For a solo traveler like myself the people at La Rosa dei Venti made sure I felt welcome and taken care of. I honestly felt like part of a big Italian family.
