Reviews for The Seven Hotel

Review 1:Eventhough the place the hotel is in has an eerie beauty, it is difficult to move around by public transport and there is not much to do within 15 minutes of walking distance.

Review 2:Nice, cozy hotel with a list of amenities.

Review 3:This location was fine for us since we were driving but it wouldn't be good for anyone using only public transportation.

Review 4:We had a very comfortable room with a big window looking out to the tree tops. It's a very quiet location outside of town so no noise at night. The restaurant on site is good and we had a very charming waitress.

Review 5:No hot food was available either in the evening or for breakfast, despite advertising menu options on line and in the room. The Reception staff were very apologetic but after a six hour drive I was too tired to venture back into town to find a proper hot dinner.

Review 6:A great deal of attention has been given to providing lots of finishing touches at the Seven Hotel.

Review 7:Breakfast was a bit disappointing: Continental was served under the statement that it was included in the room price, but charged 13 € / person afterwards. For that price quality of bakery not good enough.

Review 8:Location was superb, rooms interesting and comfortable, associated restaurant very nice

Review 9:Could not find on GPS by address! No nearby alternatives for meals.

Review 10:Gracious surroundings in green space, excellent restaurant, very comfortable room. Accessible to town, although the walk involves steep hills and an elevator ride.

Review 11:The only thing was no air conditioner during the two warm days in thearea during my stay, but could sleep with open window, so it was ok

Review 12:Very nice location, lot of nature around Free parking! Friendly staff. .

Review 13:The bath place is separated by a window. It's fine for couples, but not fine for us - two males. A earlier check with us could have improved this experience a lot.

Review 14:The apple on the pillow.

Review 15:No door on the shower area and bathroom (lots of humidity in the room after a hot shower).

Review 16:Location surrounded by small forest with ample parking next to the hotel. Bit off the beaten path, and a bit difficult to find, but worth the effort. Interesting decor and furnishings in the room, with modern colours and layout.

Review 17:We had a superior room. It was expensive. It was spacious, but had been designed by an architect with very definite views about details and less interest in true comfort. The wind whistled horribly all night: the shower had only a rain version, the basin was bizarre and awkward to use, the bath was big and plastic but not comfortable to lie in etc. We had imagined that this hotel was in a forest, but it was actually up the hill past the allotments and very exposed to wind and weather. It is really a hotel for those who go there to dine in the posh restaurant and need to stay the night afterwards.

Review 18:The wifi worked well. The staff in the morning were helpful and very friendly, but those in the evening when we arrived less so.

Review 19:Only negative thing was a slightly difficult location but really this was outweighed by the restaurant. I would have driven a long way to eat there.

Review 20:Helpful staff and very good restaurant , good bedrooms with different decor to the norm.

Review 21:Had suite 777 on top floor, it was stunning, two floors and amazing views. Little extras like candles, coffee maker and apples on bed made it perfect. Very quite and wished we could have stayed longer.

Review 22:definitely the breakfast (no so fresh, limited choice, so and so coffee) the colors in the room (I know, it's personal) the TV wasn't operational the bathroom flood when showering the smell in the hallway

Review 23:the location free parking the surroundings the welcome spacious room good wifi the huge rain shower

Review 24:bathroom facilities in the bedroom were a bit odd (WC separate, though, which was of course good)

Review 25:excellent wifi, nice staff, ingeniously served breakfast (sort of extended continental breakfast on a tray with everything portion-sized)

Review 26:If you're travelling together but not as a couple the open bathroom in the room will make things a little awkward.

Review 27:Brightness of the room Design Very comfortable beds Apples on the pillows

Review 28:The closing of the heavy fire doors makes a lot of noise but might be difficult to change

Review 29:The quietness of the location. The design atmosphere of the hotel and the room The food

Review 30:Wet room shower didn't drain very well. No tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Review 31:Great food. Delightful service. Good breakfast, but don't expect a string cuppa. Excellent bed

Review 32:- Breakfast was rather poor. - Very limited seating accommodation in the room. - No air condition. - Hotel difficult to find even with Sat Nav.

Review 33:- Restaurant food was very good. - Bathroom and bed comfort good. - Big car park. - Location excellent - Staff excellent, friendly & helpful.

Review 34:The inside restaurant is dated and needs a whole shake-up. Although we had a better than average room, there was virtually no where to sit; a low and uncomfortable armchair and an ungainly stool. The walk-in shower was great but the door did not close properly resulting in a flooded bathroom every time. Breakfast at 12€ was very poor. Coffee lukewarm etc. Hotel difficult to find; My SatNav does not do lat & log only street name. The area is still being developed and lies in an unmapped zone.

Review 35:If you don't mind cigarette smoke drifting from other tables and the stench associated with that, the restaurant on the terrace is excellent. The food is great. The staff were charming and helpful. Bed was comfortable

Review 36:There cooperation with taxi service. Not applying the agreed rates. People should speak better english

Review 37:not enough road sign to find the hotel entrance too dark

Review 38:the staff, the view of the room

Review 39:Nithing

Review 40:Everything

Review 41:Did not like location or hotel, had a strange vibe

Review 42:Nothing

Review 43:Comfort, calm, quiet location, marvellous vue

Review 44:Nice big room, nice view, nice staff

Review 45:A bit "out of town" but the restaurant makes up for it

Review 46:we only stayed for 1 night. Nice hotel with good food.

Review 47:Sophisticated roomdesign

Review 48:Location, not to far to drive into Luxembourg City. View from our room into surrounding forest. Quiet.

Review 49:Very peaceful location, great view over the city of Esch/Alzette, great stuff! Love it!

Review 50:Great secluded location, comfortable and well decorated room, helpful staff who spoke English and only 20 mins' from Luxembourg city

Review 51:It was very peaceful and lovely.

Review 52:-

Review 53:i definitely liked the location, being on the peek of an hill, really in the middle of a forest

Review 54:Location, serenity, views, design

Review 55:Simply amazing restaurant fantastic chef and value for money. Bed very comfortable but ask for one large duvet if you get the queen bed.

Review 56:Quiet and green surroundings, general comfort level, clean, nice and helpful staff

Review 57:Loved the location and the restaurant has a great menu!

Review 58:Nice hotel, with friendly staff in à quiet area. Rooms are well furnished and the hammam is great too.

Review 59:The pillows: too thin

Review 60:Clean, friendly, comfortable.

Review 61:car needed. Breakfast a little expensive

Review 62:design of the rooms, location (in the middle of the nature)

Review 63:The room on the top.

Review 64:Coffee at breakfast

Review 65:Interesting Decor, good size rooms. Quiet location

Review 66:Very quiet location in the woods above Esch, very nice staff, good restaurant Spanish cuisine

Review 67:The hotel is in an isolated location on top of a hill. The address provided by booking.com has a one letter spelling mistake which when using gps takes you to a location ten minutes away from the hotel. Although the food in the hotel is good, the breakfast portions are minuscule and inadequate for adults.

Review 68:The facilities and evening meal were excellent, and for a 4 star hotel the prices were good.

Review 69:Some distance from the town of Esch. We wanted to walk into town and avoid drinking and driving. Just not practical.

Review 70:Excellent modern hotel with large rooms. Very very comfortable and luxurious. Friendly helpful staff. We would go back here for lunch or dinner in the restaurant.

Review 71:Lack of facilities in room. No air conditioning and we were there when it was 35oC. No tea and coffe making facility. No mugs or glasses in bathroom. Rough parking area Expensive food and breakfast Just felt like a hotel that lacked funding.

Review 72:the basic design of the room

Review 73:I liked The Seven so much I extended my stay. Also, I enjoyed an excellent dinner in the art-deco inspired restaurant with my local friends, who also gave it high marks.

Review 74:Tea could have been stronger

Review 75:Superb luxury hotel which made us feel special. The staff bent overbackwards to help us get taxis to where we were going in the evening, which was further away than we'd realised. Breakfast was fantastictoo, but don't bother prebooking it on booking.com, unless you wanteverything pre-paid, it's no cheaper, and there are more optionswhen you get there. I'd like to have tried the restaurant too, itlooked very interesting. There was a wedding party while we were there,I was worried it would go on late and disturb us, but while they werestill celebrating when we went to bed, our room on the third floor wasstill absolutely silent.Highly recommended

Review 76:The room was extremely comfortable but a bit small. The washroom, separate from the bathroom (a plus) had a moldy smell.

Review 77:The location, very close to city centre but in a green, forest-like environment with walking trails. Nice scenery, lots of free parking and super friendly staff who went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

Review 78:- Breakfast was ok, but the fruit already cut, was dry. Presentation looked good, quality of what was in it, was less good.

Review 79:- Look & Feel - Shower... - View on the forest - Quietness: feels like a very small hotel

Review 80:No screens on any of the windows, and I needed to open at least one as it was warm and I didn't want to have on the A/C all the time.

Review 81:Beautiful large corner room with a view of the countryside. It had both a tub and an amazing "rain" shower in a circular stall. Great décor and amenities.

Review 82:The smell like ethane gas in the hotel entrance and building in the afternoons, perhaps water back up in the kitchen? The room could use a couple of hooks since the closet is so small. Either along the curved wall or right of closet on cabinet wall.

Review 83:The breakfast, decor, excercise room, restaurant, nature around it, peaceful.

Review 84:I prefer a breakfast buffet so I can choose what I like to eat. It was nicely served however.

Review 85:Very friendly personel Nicely designed rooms Quiet atmosphere

Review 86:late breakfast and late checkout option would be nice

Review 87:amazing rooms, great service! thanks

Review 88:Too expensive for the quality of services. 228€ for 2 nights without breakfast, I think others hotels do better!

Review 89:No indications regarding facilities (sauna, swimming pool, ...)

Review 90:Room very nice and outsanding location, quiet in nature

Review 91:fitness room very small and extremely limited equipment

Review 92:Lovely rooms, very clean Great tapas, I could eat there every night

Review 93:Breakfast: food is ok but thé bar doesn't suit for meals, too dark

Review 94:Location, confortable and modern room, Nice staff

Review 95:The architecture is amazing. It reminds me of the works of Frank Lloyd Wright. Also, the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly

Review 96:Food (both breakfast and dinner), environment, personnel, room

Review 97:Poorly indicated by road signals

Review 98:Staff were excellent as was the wifi and the design and size of rooms. Apart from being a bit out of the way I'd highly recommend

Review 99:Open bathroom.

Review 100:Very friendly staff both at front desk and in restaurant.

Review 101:A little bit noise from the restaurant at night, but nothing special.

Review 102:Beatifull view and a really calm place.

Review 103:the bathrooms are open space, which guests should probably be alerted to, especially if booking twin beds

Review 104:Nice location and very friendly staff

Review 105:Steep walk into town,food a little pricy .

Review 106:Very functional,well equipped,quiet,situated in a lovely park.

Review 107:Restaurant very busy - service a little slow

Review 108:Stylish. Good food.

Review 109:The quietness, the vue, the friendly staff, the food, the drinks. This hotel is near perfection.

Review 110:annulering voorwarden
