Review 1：The plumbing! Noisy and showering was a challenge as water went from hot to cold to hot. For two nights we could cope.with the showering game.

Review 16：The lady at reception was just delightful and could not have been more helpful,. We checked in early and were able to leave our car in the free car park. When we got back to hotel later in the day staff had taken our bags to our room. Easy walking distance to port, shops and restaurants.
Review 17：I saw it before in other reviews and it is true: stangely the water in the shower changes from cold to hot and back to cold constantly. There is nothing to do about it, but it is not a big thing either (compared to all the advantages).
Review 18：We chose this hotel, because of the good reviews. Everything was true: great breakfast with freshly baked cakes, fruits, good coffee etc. The location is perfect - 2 steps from the centre with all shops and restaurants, 5 minute walk to the port, and still it is quiet and relaxing place. We had a room with balcony, with a lovely view over the city and partly the port. The staff is very kind and helpful, suggesting places to visit and so on. It is not like a big steril hotel, it is a cozy place with charm. We hope we can return one day. :)
Review 19：The wifi was unstable and most of the time didn't work in our room. After one day, the water coming out of the shower would suddenly become cold for a while and then return to normal temperarure again.

My room (11) had wifi signal so I don't understand other reviews where people say wifi is only available in the lobby . And you get blackout curtains/shutters, which I find quite essential.

Review 24：La Roccia is well-placed, with a good view over the town. The rooms are clean, spacious and well-appointed and the staff friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast. We would probably stay here again if visiting Palau.
Review 25：The hotel is a short walk to the town centre and the port where you can take your boat trip to the archipelago. The reception and lobby area is spacious and comfortable. Good, secure parking on site.
Review 26：No fridge in the room. The bathroom was very small and the shower was scary - it cycled through hot and cold very quickly. On check-out they tried to overcharge me 10 euros when I said I couldn't recall how much I'd booked the room for. Without my smartphone I'd be just another dumb tourist. It was pretty good value for money, but I don't think they deserve an 8.5 rating.

The room was pretty basic but it did have aircon and a small balcony. The breakfast was satisfactory. All in all it was a good stay.

Review 72：The rooms could probably do with a little bit of soundproofing from each other. I think our wall where the bed was, was joined to the bathroom of the adjoining room which produced quite a lot of noise. The noise from outside the hotel was not an issue.
Review 73：The staff at the hotel were fantastic and couldn't do enough to help - I think they contribute a great deal to the overall stay. We stayed in a Superior room which has a great view over the whole town and a small portion of the port. The location was also ideal. You can slip out of a gate to the rear of the hotel and be on the main street in under a minute. The secure car park was also a bonus. The breakfast was also of a good quality and there was plenty to choose from (fruits, yoghurt, cereals, amazing cake, bread, criossants and great coffee etc).
