Reviews for Hotel Kitanoya

Review 1:We picked a room with a "rotenburo" inside the room. I was disappointed with the size of it. It was just a simple bath tub in the veranda. The price is a bit steep too.

Review 2:Very friendly and helpful staff and clean hotel with typical Japanese setting. The view was nice as it faces amanohashidate

Review 3:Language is a big problem. The staff cannot understand English , it's very difficult to communicate with them.

Review 6:Room is much better than we expected, it was fantastic! Spacious room with whole-ocean view, clean, everything was perfect. Hotel employees were super friendly, bicycle was free to rent! Breakfast was wonderful, location was just 4 mins from train station on foot. The greatest thing was "Private bath" outside, it was so romantic - price was really reasonable as well.

Review 30:Wonderful spacious room.

Review 31:Maybe a slight lifting could be done ...but finally the cham of this place resides precisely on the fact that you can feel an athmosphere coming from the 60's...

Review 32:The charm operated well! Try this hotel with a true Ryokan spirit. All rooms are truly japaneese style and have a view to the sea/lake. The staff is so polite (even if few speak english all went really well). There was an unannounced pick-up at the nearby train station waiting for us! (how did they know?). And try the japanees breakfast! PS: use the Aminohashidate train station only 400 meters away (and not Miyazu).

Review 33:Trains were difficult, best to go with a Japanese speaking friend.

Review 37:Excellent staff' very spacious room and good location. Picked up and dropped off readily to the train station.
