Review 1：Be aware that there is no obvious sign on the street - so follow the instructions the owner sends by email!!
Review 2：For Colombo this is very good value and in an excellent location for sightseeing!! We booked the garden studio which was a fair size and the kitchen was fully kitted out - which would be perfect if you like cooking for yourself or are staying for a while. Everything was clean and the owner was great and let us shower before our flight. No complaints, we had a great stay
Review 3：Although the apartment faces the garden there is a bit of noise from the road, but there is probably less noise than most areas of Colombo.
Review 4：The kitchen and nearby supermarket are excellent. You can make delicious meals with the wonderful Sri Lankan fish, vegetables and fruit. Niri (the proprietor) was able to accommodate our requests for a late check-in/out and held a large suitcase for us while we travelled. The location is very good, close to shops, the National Museum, university and government buildings. The wifi is also good.

Review 6：The staff can be more friendly. I extended my stay for another 2 nites and requested for 2PM check-out...the extra nites accomodated but the manager declined late checkout and informed us thru a small piece of paper which was passed to us by the cleaner.

The Vesak Poya celebrations started basically on our doorstep - very good location overall. Although by a busy street, the little courtyard of the house is a wonderful and calm place.

Review 19：Very centrally situated . The studio had all the facilities for self catering, including a washing machine. A very gracious host who helped with all queries and filled us in with the details of life in Colombo and accommodated our request for a late check out.

Review 21：We had a very pleasant stay at Amazing Grace. The apartment was nice and clean and perfect to calm down after a long day in colombo town. The owner welcomed us at the entrance and introduced us to the area, so we directly knew where we could find some good food (we really liked the food court at Crescat Plaza) and shops etc. She even gave us some bread, butter and eggs for our breakfast next morning.

Review 23：I recomend Amazing Grace. It has a nice central location, easy and quickly you can get anywhere in town. Very helpful and nice staff. Niri helped with recomendations for activities, booking of taxi and preparations for my onward journey. All in well spoken english. The other guys there were not as good speakers but always had a smile on their faces and did what they could to help. Overall a very homely and inviting place. A little bit hard to find with no sign on the wall, so check street numbers carefully when you get to the street.
Review 24：No hot water for first two days (maybe due to lack of sun) and hot water was a large part of reason we chose to stay. Owners response was to say "we always have hot water" after we said we didn't.

Review 26：Unfortunately the wifi didn't work. There was a router in the room, but the connection only seemed to work sporadically, and then very slowly. Also be warned that there is no sign on the gate, so you need to note the address down and ring the bell when you get there.
Review 27：We stayed in the ground floor apartment, which is a sleepout close to the private family house. The location is quite central, and a short rickshaw ride to the centre of the city. The room had all the amenities you might expect, including a hot shower and air conditioning, and also cooking facilities, which would be great for a longer term stay. The host was lovely - there had been a misunderstanding when listing the apartment, resulting in it appearing that breakfast would be provided, and despite the misunderstanding she offered it to us anyway. It's a shame this won't be a standard part of their service, as it was probably the best breakfast we ate in Sri Lanka!
