Reviews for Villa Mangiacane

Review 1:Bathrooms were a bit quirky, not a lot of privacy but luxurious all the same!!

Review 2:Great location, excellent and supportive staff, very good food and wine, and loads of history and character!! Just a great all round experience!!

Review 3:In all honestly I have nothing bad to say about the place or staff or food.

Review 4:Everything about the hotel is a perfect 10. From the moment you arrive till your departure. The only regret is we didn't book to stay longer. A stay of at least 3 days to truly enjoy the place. Even my older children didn't want to leave. Quite relaxing atmosphere very near to Florence (30 minute drive) great value for money

Review 5:Had an amazing time at mangiacane, we're given a complimentary upgrade and bottle of their delicious rose wine. Staff were lovely and the place was so magical. Will definitely be returning!

Review 6:Perfect location and beautiful villa

Review 7:Piero was fantastic, his wine tour was informative and his level of service was brilliant

Review 8:Cleaning and maintenance of the room proved extremely poor.

Review 9:Nothing.

Review 10:Great Place, Great views, nice staff can't wait to go back.

Review 11:the service is unbelievable, you realy need to show your self if you want a minimun service.

Review 12:location is perfect ,the villa was great

Review 13:Spa is closed until next year, nobody knows why and when it will opens...

Review 14:Great location, amazing experience !!! Restaraunt is fantastic!!!

Review 15:Our room had the most up-to-date state of the art bath and shower facilities but although the shower worked wonderfully well the bath took an age to fill and the water was often tepid. The restaurant was pleasant but the prices were on the high side. Not really a problem with so many reasonably priced alternatives close by recommended by the hotel.

Review 16:The position relative to Florence and the surrounding Tuscan countryside; sensational views; the delightful staff and proximity to San Casciano which does not have the cachet of other Tuscan towns but in our view has far better facilities, particularly sensibly priced restaurants and convenient car parking

Review 17:Lousy staff Dirty plunge pool Poor upkeep of the premise Smelly rooms No24hrs reception Not worth euros 400 per night!

Review 18:Beautiful grounds and view of Florence

Review 19:There isn't anything not to like!

Review 20:Thought the place was stunning. The grounds immaculate. The staff were fantastic - service fantastic, food was delicious, room was stunning ( we stayed in one of the rooms with garden & plunge pool with gorgeous four poster bed, round bathtub - really special unique room) really relaxing couple of days & nice that your not too far from the center of Florence... Wouldn't think twice about staying there again next time in Florence!

Review 21:WIFI is very poor on the premises (you have to login every time your device powersaves)

Review 22:Over priced restaurant serving rather unimaginative food, contrary to some reviews.

Review 23:Delightful staff

Review 24:The pool was not clean (water was a bit green)

Review 25:The staff was excellent, location was great and the room was OK.
