Review 9：We loved the views from our "Badessa" room of the water and street activity. We loved having a little kitchen at our disposal. The location in Rapallo was close to everything and within walking distance to the market and train station. Our hosts were always accommodating in every way.

Review 10：Reception closes at 10.30pm. Driving from another city and arriving late, the host did not seem too please to have waited until 10.40pm for us to check-in. Also it was not possible to have breakfast because we arrived too late for arrangements to be made. Also the listing said free parking, the confirmation e-mail indicated an extra cost for parking. When we arrived, we were told there were none left.

Review 11：Location is close to the promenade with a sea view. Suite/Studio was spacious. Included a kitchenette.

Review 12：We had a double sofa bed room with sea view. It was certainly worth the few extra dollars for the view. Also used the espresso coffee maker and enjoyed it immensely. The owner Vittorio was fantastic and gave us lots of information. All staff were helpful.

Review 13：Everything was perfect. Warm and excellent service. Large and comfortable room. Ideal location - direct ocean and harbor view, a few steps to the water, could hear the waves washing up to the shore. Easy access to Cinque Terre and Portofino. Good breakfast, free parking. We loved it and plan to be back.

Review 14：If you are old or ageing and require the right thickness and cushioning with a pillow, most of Italy is a difficult mix of too flat, too hard 'slabs'. The beds are firm but great for the posture and surprisingly comfortable but you have to demand the best soft pillows from the house. And then you may only get close (as we did here)

Review 20：The air conditioning did not work well and the pillows were thin. No bathroom counter space. But, all of these things seem to be standard in Italy so not necessarily the fault of the lodging (but could be improved). Although the street noise could be loud at times it did not affect our sleep.

Review 21：Alberto's customer service was 5***** and did not go unnoticed, particularly in an era where this seems to be a dieing art. His willingness and helpfulness made us feel welcome and was so appreciated since we have never been to Italy and do not understand or speak the language. He went above and beyond, giving us helpful tips for riding the train, understanding train schedules, and offering directions to the station, grocery store, coffee shop, and some restaurants in the area. The room did not feel cramped; the bed was comfortable; the armoire ample; and views were pleasant. Rapallo was our favorite destination in Italy and we would most certainly book again at II Convento.

Review 31：The friendliness of the staff. The room was spacious with three windows. The atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and quiet. The furniture showed taste. The beach is nearby as well as the city centre. The management had reserved a parking space along the road (free of charge!!)

Review 32：The expandable sofa bed is the only inconvenience as it is not as comfy as a double bed. However, it is not so bad either...

Tania went out of her way to give us great and unique tips on visiting various sights near-by - Thank you - it made all the difference in the world! Manuel's and Victor's hospitality were incredible - although we were booked into a room with a sofa bed, they offered us the room with two double beds taking into account our prolonged 2 weeks stay, ensuring our comfort - thank you! Highly recommend this place!

Review 81：The bed linen have not been change during stay of 1 week.The pillow was a bit uncomfortable. A bit noisy in the morning when if the window is open.It would be good to have a shower gel especially after the sea and have more convenient equipment for drying sea towels and other related things. Though there are just wishes.

Review 85：Great location. There is a small beach right in front of the hotel, and 5 min walk to the promenade, shops and restaurants. Although partially obscured by trees, the view of the harbour was lovely from our sea view room. Travel from Genoa airport as well as Chiavari was easy and cheap by train. Staff were helpful in giving directions to places we wanted to visit in the area.
