Review 1：Very minor point indeed - but no chair in room.

Review 2：Lovely location in Tuscan countryside but with easy access to train station via bus that stops right outside. Excellent room. Absolutely splendid restaurant at the same location.

Review 4：The surrounding environment and the kitchen facility in the room; there is an excellent Italian restaurant at the hotel.

Review 5：No service what so ever. We couldnt get any food for our stay, first a wedding party, then a birthday party and last night closed (monday). We asked for resturants in the neighbourhood and the two closest were unavailable, either closed or booked. We drove litterly for hours. No dinner that night.

Review 7：The accomodation had a great feel, had been decorated in a rustic fashion, bespoke individual rooms. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Help yourself breakfast was fresh and delicious. Hotel was set in beautiful countryside and not far from Empoli, midway between Pisa and Florence.

Review 9：Beautiful property set in lovely gardens with a pool. The room was a good size, and was very clean and comfortable. Just s 5 minute drive into Empoli, where we caught the train to Florence (30 mins each way, 8 euros return).

Review 10：Althoug Empoli is small town traffic there was complicated for us, so get a map before you go there, We didn't have one and it was a mistake.

Review 11：Beautiful and clean room, very kind and helpfull stuff, It's peacefull and we had a great view. Hotel is very well located for going sightseeing, Vinci, Florence, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca it was all very reachable. Liked the breakfast, good coffee and cakes (traditional italian). We were there for Easter hollydays and a nice small surprise waited for us in our room - chocolate sweets. Also, there was an easter cake for breakfast (colomba) and chocolate egg. We had a feeling like everyone there simply cared and that's what our stay made so pleasant.

Review 21：The landscape was so beautiful. We received a suite, and it was perfect and very romantic. Thanks for this possibility! We were in the middle of Tuscany, easy access to the famous cities, but you need car. Everybody was very friendly and helpful.

Review 22：Stayed here at end of our driving holiday/wedding in Chianti. Very friendly, peaceful place, easy to get to Florence on train. Beautiful views, sat out in the garden with a bottle of wine in the evening - fabulous. Helpful staff - recommended a wonderful local restaurant as the restaurant on site was closed the night we arrived. We were given a lovely room, very spacious with jacuzzi bath.

Review 40：The rooms are very large but exceedingly dark. This is not a hotel in the conventional sense there is no room service; and on our first day we realised that lunch was not available; the main office was closed for lunch and hence we could not order a taxi. We were also told that the restaurant was closed that evening for a private dinner. A car is an essential if you are stopping here for any length of time.

There is a very good and popular restaurant, but it is open for dinner only, and there is no bar or caffe - just to have an espresso or an ice-cream, or some simple refreshments, without having to go all the way to the Empoli.

There is even a small church/wedding chapel on the property.The pool is precious after all-day sightseeing trips. The local wines just add up to the overall impression.
