Review 1:Nil
Review 2:This ryokan is so well located, it's just a minute walk to the shrine. It takes us less than 10 minutes to walk to the sandbar. The area has nice shops and restaurants and can be pretty lively in the day and extremely peaceful and quiet at night.
Review 3:Window heat insulation is not good and feel a bit cold in the room Quite noise when more tourists come to bridge area in the early morning.
Review 4:My room with excellent view to the bridge Staff is nice and helpful. Can speak very good English Meal is money worth
Review 5:Room is a bit old, some dust in the air conditioner...
Review 6:Traditional japanese rykon, nice and helpful staff, very nice breakfast, nice setting in reception area!! Location is good!
Review 7:Only thing to bear in mind is that everything (including the restaurants) in the area closes around 5pm, so in the evening you either have to dine at the ryokan or get a train to the main town.
Review 8:The evening meal (I went for the luxe option) was one of the finest dining experiences I've ever had. Nine courses of exquisitely presented, fresh and perfectly portioned cuisine, no wonder everyone had their cameras out. The staff couldn't do enough to help, finding me a bike to rent, driving me to the station, even tying my yakata properly (slightly embarrassing!). The room had a great view over the water, and I loved the touch that they made up your futon for you while you ate dinner. The onsen was also of a very good standard, clean facilities and a small outdoor hot pool as well. Loved it.
Review 9:A bit expensive Bring books and other occupation cause after 5pm, everything is closed in the area
Review 10:A true ryokan experience: dinner, breakfast, room, futon, onsen. Staff is really nice Location is awesome
Review 11:Break first - Very Special and People care , impressive and lovely . Special food with very cultural environment. Hotel pick up in the station and bring us to the hotel in the late evening for our late arrival. Open the window , you will find a great painting and picture .

Review 23:A very convenient location.
Review 24:Staff were just so pleasant. Put us in a beautiful room facing the river, they even presented us with a gift as we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. Rooms are very clean, and the location is just right smack at the center of the tourist area, just beside the bridge. Food was also excellent. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.
Review 25:My wife and I planned a trip to Japan with the hopes of visiting Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. The Taikyourou was a little bit of random gamble as we didn't know much about the Amanohashidate area it was in. After our stay it ended up being the highlight of our trip! The hotel staff was extremely helpful with all our requests. They provided us with a very unique and traditional Japanese Ryokan experience, right down to helping us get dressed in our Kimonos for dinner. The 9 course feast they provided was one of the most delicious and elaborate meals I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The hotel is located in arguably the best location in the entire town and provided us with maps and bikes to help explore the surrounding temples. I highly recommend.
Review 26:It would have been good to have a lounge room & wifi in our room.
Review 27:The staff were excellent, very welcoming & helpful. It is the best location in Amanahashidate, right next to the bridge with views of it from our window. The onsen was great & the breakfast delicious.
