Review 2：Quiet. Separate small kitchen area. Little touches like cheese knife/board. coasters beside bed. Fridge not overstocked with merchandise leaving room for our esky food.
Review 3：There was a knocking sound in the wall, possibly from water being used in another unit. Did not detract too much from the stay though.

Review 8：I was greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome. As a seasoned business traveller Stannum Lodge is exceptional, the room was spotless, comfortable and well presented. The little things that make a difference are glad wrap for the microwave, quality crockery and cutlery. It was a pleasure to stay here and I only wish I had found Stannum lodge several years ago.
Review 9：The most immaculate motel we have ever stayed in. Mark and Morris were splendid hosts. The breakfast was scrumptious .Will go back and have no hesitation in recommending this motel.
Review 10：We arrived in very, very cold weather. The room was an ice box, and we had trouble finding the switches for the electric blankets. A heater in the bathroom would have helped.

Review 23：Nothing was too much trouble, from bookings, directions, how to work the technology and last but not least a bottle of champagne for my husband's birthday! The shower was to die for and the tapware chosen to suit arthritic hands. Everything was immaculate.

Review 32：Overpowering smell of cleaning products and air scented fresheners. Pretty much a basic motel room and maybe $30 over priced. Very hot when we stayed and air conditioner could not keep us cool, you could not leave the a/c on while you were out of the room when you had to lock it up.

Review 38：This is the most thoughtful motel I have ever stayed in. It was all the little things that made the difference - the security screen door, the sink , the crockery & cutlery, actual ice in the freezer, the wine bucket & champagne glasses, the roll of glad wrap in the microwave. Everything worked as it should, the bed was super comfy, minimal noise and spotlessly clean even the carport. Our hosts were courteous, friendly and very helpful. Will definitely be my choice when next in Stanthorpe.

Review 46：Most motel beds tend to be hardy. I like a soft bed. Stannum's beds were better than many I've slept in, but not quite soft enough. However, I'm sure many will find them just fine.

Review 50：All the heating you need when it is below 0 outside! Spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. For a country lodge it was extremely well equipped and a short walk into town. Congratulations to the hosts of Stannum Lodge who take so much pride in caring for the grounds and overall cleanliness of the property.

Review 52：The room was clean, and the staff/hosts lovely and efficient to get on with. I was having dinner at Anna's with some friends and it's right next door to where I wanted to be. I would definately stay there again.
Review 53：The owners were extremely helpful. On our arrival early in the evening, we were not sure where to go for dinner. The gentleman in the office rang a nu be of restaurants to enquire about a reservation for that night. We were able to get a table at the Brewary restaurant and the owner organised a taxi to pick us up at the lodge within the hour. He then rang around and booked us on to a wine tour for te next morning. Both owners were very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again. The unit was very clean and went to little bit extra by ensuring there was washing up detergent , sweet smelling deodoriser in the bathroom and we had wifi. Thank you for a lovely place to stay and so central to everything.
