Review 1：mosquitoes cold water in the indoor pool almost impossible to use the cell phones spa under my expectation

Review 3：The surcharges are unacceptable: 40€ for a 5min Shuttle Ride, higher (!) fees for hotel guests at local private beaches, etc. make one feel taken advantage off. Very upsetting given the room price.

Review 5：Too close to a smelly sewage plant and therefore lots of flies. The golf course was pretty good but difficult to book the times I wanted and there were no reserved tee times for resort guests.

Review 9：Only gripe is that for such a stylish hotel, despite the good work of all the cleaners etc, the floors (shiny white) and bathrooms black and white looked a bit shabby. They had the sort of finish that can only look really good when brand new. Also every drink etc was expensive, I think when staying at a top class hotel they could give you a free bottle of water as you couldn't drink the tap water.

Review 12：Had a lovely dinner at DamaDama the food was very tasty and I loved my fruit and custard birthday cake! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the Junior Suite was large and modern our kids loved the giant bathtub. Breakfast was good and they make the best cappuccinos. Good distance to check out the nearby towns that are around a 5 minute drive. Modern hotel with beautiful grounds and views.

Review 13：Living in Dubai, we are used to more elaborate breakfast buffets - hence the lower rating on this aspect. Showers are tiled in manner that facilitates the development of mold - we did have to move a few rooms, but the front desk was very accommodating. Surprised to learn that the hotel does not offer lunch options - there is a golf course club-house, but options are very limited. Understand that it is high season, hence the higher rates, but the high rates had an impact on the perceived value for money.

Review 14：The area is great - Porto Santo Stefano was very charming. Nice dinner in their restaurant - considerably pricier than dining in Panto Stefano, but the chocolate fondant was among the best we've had and the pasta with meat ragout was also nice. Good gym facilities.

Review 17：Very poor implementation of non smoking policy in restaurant. I had a dinner with a cigar smoking guest at adjacent table. Wild cats are entering the restaurant during breakfast and dinner and are running between the tables. Both points are not to the required standards of a 5 stars resort.

Review 21：There are no views from the rooms/ balconies, due to the proliferation of shrubs and greenery due to lack of pruning. The breakfast service was indifferent, with guests waiting for tables to be cleared before they could sit down. Tables were not cleared of used crockery when guests were collecting further items of food. An ants nest inside the breakfast room took two days to clear.The road within the grounds of the hotel is a minefield of ruts and potholes, not my idea of a 5* hotel

Review 22：We are golfers, so an on-site quality course is a bonus. Location is good with good views from the course.

Review 23：The comfort is questionable. The baby sitter is one of the most expensive in the world, 25 euro per hour in the evening, this is equivalent to Monte-Carlo. The bathtub does not have a little shower, so renders the possibility of washing your head literally impossible since you have to clean with the same soapy water or jump into the shower, which is all very inconvenient. the big shower in the did not work, neither did the hair drier. You can't have drinks at the swimming pool area, so you have to run up to the bar to ask for water. the floor around swimming pool is made of wood, which is nice, but after walking on it, you have to start pulling the pieces from your feet in the evening. The area is very large, and one wants to wonder and walk, but we couldn't since there was a golf tournament and someone could have thrown a ball into your head by mistake.

Review 24：The existence of the playground is very nice actually, since you don't find it in many hotels. There is a playground inside, which unfortunately has the oldest and dirtiest toys in the world. There are many swimming pools, covered and open, and the water is heated in some. it is quite large, so nobody lis cramped together and there is a lot of space. Each room has a terrace, which is quite large too. the rooms of a good size and have a nice bathroom too.

Review 25：* as A LOT of (so called) 5star 'resorts' these days = they are by N O way 5 star (= staff admitted openly that"they were getting their act together" -but we - the client - do pay a 5 star Price of € 400 a night !!) * the hotel (although only 2 to 3 years old) needs (already) maintainance but gives the 'feel' that owners are not doing this * the swimming pool is a./ too small vs nº of hotel guests & b./ dirty * a 5star (...) hotel but without www coverage in every room ?? You can't do that anymore in 2013. WWW coverage is in todas world basic, especially for the type of people with spending power to pay (as in this hotel) € 400 per night * the so-called "beach arrangement" is a hoax; it is a semi public beach at ca. 20 m. from the hotel, not the advertised 5 minutes. The food at the beach is good but expensive
