Reviews for 31 The Rocks

Review 1:Couch was uncomfortable. We couldn't sit there for long which did make a difference. We had to go to bed early to be comfortable.

Review 2:Loved the setting - right in the bush, quiet, private. Clean, airy lounge/kitchen/dining. Nice owner greeted us with delicious fresh bread, milk, orange juice.

Review 3:We thought the shower was poor for the cost of the accommodation and we thought that perhaps there could of been more coffee on offer but certainly t leafed tea

Review 4:Our king size bed was a combo of two king size singles so we felt the bump in the middle which was uncomfortable during cuddles. I also saw someone else's body hair on the wall by the towel rack so bathroom walls needed cleaning. They were quite stingy with firewood considering we were there during the coldest days in Queensland in 15 years. In fact I felt she would rather we didn't use the wood heater. This place needs more value-adding for the price you pay.

Review 5:I loved the view of the sunset from our cabin; friendly owner; complimentary fresh bread from a local baker; lots of info of places to see in the area

Review 6:Nil, we loved it all!

Review 7:Phil & Beryl were welcoming & provided outstanding service & local knowledge of the area. Self contained accommodation had all the creature comforts required for a few days romantic getaway. We'll definitely be back!

Review 8:The size of the cabin was fantastic. A King size and a queen size bedroom. Fire place was terrific and wood pile was stocked every day. Heaps for continental breakfast daily. Very very clean. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone without children. Really really quiet. Just perfect.

Review 9:Nothing - we had a lovely stay!

Review 10:Lovely room, well set out property to give everyone privacy (we didn't hear any other guests), very helpful in providing all conveniences for us travelling with a toddler. We spent most days out exploring the local sights but the room was very comfortable after a long day out and about. Loved the wood fire and bushy outlook.

Review 11:There was nothing not to like!

Review 12:The privacy and it seemed like miles from nowhere but really was close to everything. The owners/staff were more than helpful, friendly and booking was quick and easy and confirmed straight away .. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ACCOMADATION TO ANYONE.

Review 13:The cabins were clean and private which was important with our young daughter. Milk, juice bread and cereal was provided for bkfst aswell as coffee, tea, oil and functional kitchen. This was our second stay here and would stay sgain

Review 14:Because of recent rain there were lots of mosquitoes at dawn and dusk. Some spray would of been handy.

Review 15:Beautiful setting. Privacy. Very well appointed cabins everything was very clean and very comfortable.

Review 16:Location and the peace and quiet along with the wildlife. Nice to have the BBQ and kitchen facilities so that we could prepare our own meals at our leisure. The proprietors are lovely people and make you feel right at home.

Review 17:Bed was a little hard.

Review 18:It was almost like being at home- very comfy with everything you could need available. Facilities were modern and clean. Good price.

Review 19:The touted " Gourmet ' breakfast basket was fine, but it could not be called " Gourmet " Maybe just the description could be changed, or preferably more exotic cereals, jams or croissants added

Review 20:The friendly and on-site owners and hosts certainly have an eye for detail. The purpose built chalets are ideal, with just about everything that opens and closes, right down to the fire, ready and set to go. It would be hard to improve on the accommodation. Quality all round.

Review 21:Nothing to dislike - perhaps a digital clock in the bedroom?

Review 22:Position of our cabin was very private and secluded the layout was excellent and the bathroom showed taste and an attention to detail we both liked.

Review 23:The beds need Pillow toppers on them . They are terribly hard .. Can't understand why owners don't put these on beds these days.. It's basic comfort . Also owners had a long list of things that you were not allowed to do .. Framed and on wall ..!! Not a good look .. Breakfast was 1970 motel .. Left in room in packets ..awful .. No home baked goodies etc..

Review 24:Pleasant surroundings ..

Review 25:The surroundings were lovely. Felt like we were the only ones on the property even though that was not the case.

Review 41:great location, very private, very helpful and friendly staff, modern facilities and amenities.

Review 42:. Fairly expensive for 2 nights; stays 3 nights and longer are much better value

Review 43:. Views and surrounds (great walks with outlooks even on property) . Friendly helpful proprietor . Everything in excellent condition . Up-to-date AV for modern inputs . Cosy even on coldest nights (wood stove & reverse cycle a/c) . Limited phone & wireless reception (in whole region) guarantees chill-out time

Review 44:Great staff very friendly and lovely room. Small details like the movies to hire for free and set up of the fireplace made it a very easy place to stay.

Review 45:Lovely modern villa with all the amenities you would expect. Also little touches like a cream liquor nightcap, biscuits and similar items. The additions of a fireplace and electric blankets ensured we were comfortable. I would recommend 31 The Rocks to any couple.

Review 46:It was a little noisier than I expected with the neighbours across the road arguing, and a little bit of road truck noise, just being in the country, Not the owners fault.

Review 47:This is a quality cottage, luxurious sheets, sumptuous pillows, hosts extremely friendly and obliging. Very comfortable room and lovely shower. Fire an absolute must for warmth and ambience. Great location for accessing Girraween National Park and Wineries. Good access to New England highway.

Review 48:A neighbour's dog from the paddock next door makes itself very comfortable and enters your villa and hangs around on the verandah while you are trying to eat. Very very friendly dog however.

Review 49:Liked the setting amongst the trees. Great little track that leads to a big rocky out look to watch the sunset, and a perfect spot for a picnic.

Review 50:Needed more toilet paper for 4 people staying 2 nights!!

Review 51:I loved the privacy of the separate cabin and the peaceful surroundings. The layout of the cabin was perfect for a family or 2 couples and all the 'essentials' provided.
