Review 1：Rooms need more lighting because they are a little bit dark. Rooms are small. No free parking

Review 2：A brilliant location close to the downtown. Big bathroom. Nice breakfast and waiters.

Review 3：the house keeping staff are out of order. taking the used towels after cleaning the room without a replacement. not once but for to days in raw. It was upsetting as you comes late night to have a shower and you have no towels or even toilet roll.

The construction of the hotel is weird as i feel it was converted to a hotel, hence getting direct access through the elevator from the car parking or else where to your floor is complicated and not easily accessible.

Review 23：no valet parking! And you charge to park! Elevator to lobby was from building yard, dangerous! To my room on floor 11 one elevator each side! I needed to shave it took that long for it to arrive! Rooms cold even on heat setting! Shiver while waiting for the elevator! And you charged me for the bottled water which I needed whilst waiting for the elevator ! The bathroom not according to the 4 star designation! I nearly broke the mirror turning on the tap! And I needed the water to shave after waiting for the elevator.

Review 28：Everything works. In-room TV has a couple of football channels which meant that I didn't miss LaLiga. However, picture quality left a lot to be desired. Buffet is good, juice is not fresh, lettuce was not washed well and they took it off the table when I pointed it out. Place is clean. Sound proofing is mediocre. Close to (nay in the middle of) a shopping area, food (hotel allows delivery), a couple of grocer's shops, banks, ...etc. Across the street from the JW and 35% of cost. Staff is good and cooperative except the one who promised to get back to me with the number of the restaurant across the street and blew me off.

After 20 mins, I respectfully ask him, if it was fair to make me wait after a 15 hour flight? Also, reminded him that it was not a FREE airport transfer, I was being charged for it!! Could not be bothered...did not care if the guest had to wait... Pathetic! Restaurants had great menus....BUT, you cannot order food into your room!!! Only order from the room service menu.... once again.... rules over logic..It is not the guest's choice to eat where they want...

Review 82：This is my 10th time to this hotel. I liked it and was very pleased. However, this stay was bad and not sure what has changed. It may be a change in management. The house keeping is very bad. There were repair on the roof and was noisy. The reception staff were not as good as they used to be. All in all it is worse and hope it does not go down more. Management need to find out what is going on and I will be happy to give them details

Review 83：1. The entrance, not clear indication on how to get to reception. 2. The old fashion carpets, old, bit dirty, bit smelly. 3. The fact the lift is used for carrying beds, etc, and expected guests to go in the same lift. 4. The tap in the bathroom in my room was not working properly. 5. My room was connected by a door to another room, it was locked, but I could hear the conversations from the other room. 6. Generally the old fashion furniture and bathroom artefacts. If it wasn't for the fact that is a very big building, I would say that this was a 3 star hotel, not 4 stars. 7. I requested breakfast in my room for 6.30am, and it came at 6.20am when I was still in the shower (!) 8. I didn't like the view from my room.

But at the same time, the hotel management seem to be trying to fix that, they obviously can't add in an additional elevator easily, so they have an elevator man just to make sure that there is as little delay as possible.

I would like toexpress my disappointment of my experience in my stay at Swiss-BelhotelPlaza Kuwait, as in all my hotel booking I'm selecting a deluxe roomwith (strictly non smoking) option, but after checking in I noticedthat they kept me in a “smoking” deluxe room which I refused and wentdown again to the front desk staff in which she couldn’t find me my asper my “very clear” official confirmed request, but also she tried to“downgrade” my booking to a non-smoking standard room which I alsorefused, and then I asked for the duty manager Mr. Tayeb which he alsowas not to the level of dealing in such cases more specially when themistake is from them, as he tried to convince me either to accept the“downgrade” of select a smoking deluxe room. In such cases and as permy humble experience with reputed hotels, the hotel management tried tokeep the guest satisfied and “upgrade” his issue for free, but what Ifound from them is the opposite.So due my very tight business schedule I was obliged to accept at least another room than their first “horrible smell” deluxe smoking room selection, with a room have a bit less smell. I hope that the said issue won’t appear in my coming booking with you in Blakemore Hyde Park Hotel, London (booking #: 211062170) and trust that you’ll compensate me in your own professional way within my said coming stay.
