Review 1：Young and experience Antonio was so full of enthusiasm. Wonderful to meet and see how people from different countries have similar thoughts. Stepping out on the terrace and seeing mount Etna was thrilling and exciting. All was as described and even better.

Review 4：The location was quite far out from Giarre and as we didn't have a car it was difficult for us to get anywhere as there is no public transport - not even taxi - available at reasonable times. My mum is disabled so this made it very difficult to get around. If you are visiting Giarre, definitely hire a car!!

Review 5：Travelled wit my mum. The room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. Our host was very friendly and helpful and was always willing to help us with anything. He even organised another guest to drive us into town when we got stuck.

Review 6：After reading the reviews, I thought that at that price it is simply impossible. But as soon as we arrived and were greeted by Antonio, you feel immediately at home. The place is kept very clean, large rooms, a great view of Etna dominates the area, and several good restaurants just 10 minutes away by car. If you have a car (which I think you need here), CasAnsaldo is very easy to reach from Catania-Messina highway. The location is just 30 minutes driving from Catania/Taormina/Etna. We stayed for 6 nights here, and every morning Antonio would prepare us a very fresh breakfast. He never pushes you to buy or go anywhere, but once you ask him about our daily plans, he is fast to give you best advices, printouts and all the information you need. The area is rather safe, traffic free, very quiet and Antonio also provided a private locked parking. We will surely return here. Thanks Antonio for helping make our Sicily holiday a perfect one!!

Review 8：Antonio was the most accommodating and helpful host i could possibly ask for. The house is clean and bright with a delicious breakfast including local pastries. It offers excellent views of Etna, with the possibility of guided tours and only 30 minutes from Catania and minutes from the sea. Great value for money!!

If I was to visit Sicily again, I would definitely come back here.This B&B is excellent, good value: very clean ( room cleaned daily,sheets changed every couple of days ), very quiet and very cheap! I wasgiven a large room which was in perfect conditions, newly decorated,with air conditioning, a good size bathroom,fast wi-fi, tv and mini bar.Breakfast is excellent and varied: fruit, juice, coffe ( real coffe!),bread and jam...and a freshly baked warm croissant filled with home madeSicilian orange jam! Wow! I was really impressed and totally loved it!The B&B is located in the small village of Carruba, which hassupermarket, corner shops, pharmacy...the town of Giarre is few km awaywithin easy reach. Casa Ansaldo is the perfect base for visitingTaormina, Catania , Etna and the seaside. Having a car would be anadvantage, but I didn't have one and I managed to go everywhereusing busses and trains, and I also rented a bicycle. The owner,Antonio, is passionate about his job and is an excellent host, friendlyand very helpful. He helped me to rent the bicycle as well as organisingfor me a trip on Etna which was the highlight of my stay! I have rarelymet a B&B owner so kind to his guests, I really enjoyed mystay...Grazie Antonio!
