Review 1：Overpriced and in serious need of refurbishment if it is to compete with hotels in other areas of Puglia. The pool Is far too small and the the adjoining beach cafe/restaurant in seriously run down.

Review 2：The breakfast was good and the rooms a good size, clean and comfortable.

Review 3：The pool on the roof is too small to swim in, but the tranquil sea more than makes up for this.

Review 4：Modern comfortable rooms with nice bathrooms. Restaurant provides excellent food and wine .at prices. The beach opposite is fantastic.

Review 5：The quality of towels very poor. Thought it was a bit unfair to pay for umbrella and sunbeds on the beach. Usually this is included when you stay in a beach hotel.

Review 9：If I have to make a comment that could help for an improvement, well, the food is good, but sometimes not so good.. I mean, sometimes the kitchen is excellent and sometimes a bit disappointing... But there are so many things to eat in the buffet( vegetables , amazing cheese, ect) thatvif sometimes one dish is not fantastic, well you can easily substitute it with something else in the buffet.

Review 15：intermittent and rather poor wi fi the attitude of some of the staff ( though not generally ) was less than friendly The disco music at high volume on the beach from 11.15 am through to lunch time & again late afternoon was not to everyone's taste !

Review 17：Not the hotel's fault but 40% of the guests had children under 5 years....noise started at 07.30am. There is no direct sea view...most balconies face on to a car park, another building or the pool and as other reviewers said there is only one chair on the balcony. It is 30 minutes, minimum, to walk into the centre of the town and I am a hill walker so walking is not a problem for me. The beach is over crowded ( three rows deep with beach beds in only 10 m of sand ). The hotel restaurant is almost institutional ....over lit so no ambiance...no proper windows. Very few of the staff had English....I know that I was in Italy but you need to communicate occasionally. Pool is not really for swimming...more for decoration and splashing about in...really bad shape.

Hotel staff is super inefficient and not very professional: - Asked the cleaning lady to return in 10 minutes, she returned in an hour when my room was already busy. - Two times at breakfast the cook simply forgot about my omelette (two different people!) - The beach assistant is very arrogant and totally not helpful and there seems to be very little alignment with reception - no one could give me the wifi code for the beach network. On out first day the beach assitant didn't want to give us the chaise longues that we booked! 2. We couldn't use the SPA, because on Sundays they close at 18 and on Mondays they are Always closed. Italian dolce far niente :) There were three of us asking for massages, but they decided not to open still. On Tuesday they closed at 20, so no SPA at night. 3. Overall quality for the price charged is ridiculous - beach facilities are charged separately (20 euros a day!), arriving at almost 250 eur for B&B per day, no meals included, in July. For this $ in Salento you can have 5*.

We were therefor Easter week with our 11 months old daughter (one double room +additional bed for the baby) and felt home from the moment we steppedin. Staff is wonderfully friendly, polite and eager to help at any time.Giovanni, the Manager, is a very good professional with an excellentfeeling for human relationships. The hotel is now about one year oldand, in our opinion, well up to cruising speed.Not a day without a smile from the staff, including the cleaning ladies, and a friendly word for our little one. The cook makes wonders, food and dishes are just excellent, breakfast is very complete and when you top it up with a typical cappucino, well ... you are in heaven. There were not many people and we were told that Summer is much busier but we have no doubts the service will remain up to the standard we have experienced. The beach (and what a beach !!! no need to go to the Maldives to find such a turquoise water and white sand !!!) is just across the street, the hotel offers a breathtaking sundeck with a pool and view on the Ionian Sea. My wife has taken a spa & massage which she found utterly professional and relaxing altogether. We have not taken advantage of the Sea or the pool due to the early season but what a wonderful week it has been altogether. This place is really relaxing, families and kids friendly. We are going back in July, it is as simple as that ! Lecce, Gallipoli, Otranto, Brindisi and many more are easily at reach with a car. Thank you, Giovanni, Anna, Cristian, Mauro, Chef and everyone for a wonderful stay !
