Review 2：The beauty of the surroundings. The very friendly and helpful staff. The very rich breakfast. The very spaceous rooms and comfortable bed.

Review 3：Very friendly and helpful staff who arranged a booking at short notice at a nearby restaurant that was very popular and where table reservations usually have to be made well in advance. Also arranged a massage and car transfer at the end of our stay without any problems. Buffet breakfasts were excellent.

Review 4：Leaving! Some visitors need to be aware that there are 50+ steps between the hotel and the pool area, but can be accessed via sloping walkways / drives.

Review 9：The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff were superb in every respect, they were so genuinely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The suite was stunning with the most delightful views of the lake, and the swimming pool was fabulous. Breakfast (and lunch) on the terrace was truly magnificent and a real highlight of every day. I can't thank the staff enough and, needless to say, we'll be back as soon as possible.

Review 10：We stayed at the hotel for 4 days with our little daughter and our stay was just amazing. The whole staff did all they could to fulfil all our wishes, our daughter was absolutely in love with the little swimming pool designed precisely for such little kids, the view was stunning and the breakfast wonderful. If we ever go back to Garda lake, we will definitely go back to this hotel.

The reception team were so helpful, even in the preceding weeks to us staying as I planned to propose to my girlfriend whilst we stayed. They helped me organise prosecco,breakfast in room,flowers and even a birthday cake. They were fantasticly helpful.(especially Maura and Daniela)thanks! They also organised a great afternoon in a speedboat for us and booked the excellent restaurant over the road (lido 84) which is also highly recommended.

Review 16：Very nice 4 star hotel just across the street from the lake. Nice little town about 1/2mile down the street with cute lakeside restraunts & cafes. Great views and delicious breakfast.

Review 17：Tiny flatscreen TV. Not really walking distance to any shops, best to have a car. Car Park is a little walk from the hotel. No iron in the room, instead the hotel provide an ironing service. No evening restaurant.

That said, they do breakfast and a range of snacks throughout the day and the kitchenette in the room was very handy. Don't forget to wander up to the old town, really nice up there.

We had the most wonderful views across the lake from our balcony. The pool is huge and there are plenty of sunbeds for all which makes a change! You can easily walk or drive to local towns and restaurants.

Review 35：We stayed in this hotel after a recent multi-city, 2 week visit to Italy and it was BY FAR the best hotel in which we stayed. The location was perfect - up on a hill directly across from the lake in a wonderful town on the lake with easy access to shops, restaurants, walking, etc. Everything was incredibly clean and in excellent condition. We stayed with our 2 teenage children in a 1 bedroom apartment with a small kitchenette. We had plenty of space, a wonderful little balcony, comfortable beds, the a/c worked very well, lots of windows with black-out shades, wonderful pool. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Wish we had stayed longer.

The breakfast was delicious: great cappuccino, home-made dishes, fantastic variety of great Italian food. The ladies that served us at breakfast were very polite and welcoming. I would advise this place to everyone who is searching a hotel with great views of the lake, delicious cuisine and friendly staff. Also the room was equipped with everything - glasses for vine and juice, fridge, plates, forks, knives and spoons, even two sinks in the kitchen! So you can cool yourself a salad and eat it accompanied by a glass of Italian wine while watching picturesque Lake Garda landscapes. If we come here again, we would definitely stay in this suite again.

Review 99：The location of the hotel is very good and the view from our balcony as well as from the breakfast terrace was magnificent. The staff was very helpful and kind. The hotel was very clean, however the design (painted ceilings and walls, classic furniture with lot of ornaments) sometimes seemed too much for me. The breakfast was also good with lot of choices. Parking was available inside the hotel's premises and wifi was available not only in the room and lobby, but at the pool as well (very positive). The pool is 135 cm - 235 cm (if I'm not mistaken), suitable for real swimming with plenty of sunbeds. There is also a pool for small kids. Even though the check-out time is quite early at 11 a.m., we were allowed to stay whole day at the pool (there is a shower and changing room at the pool).

Review 100：Charging for using the kitchenette is unnecessary and at least for usnot an option with such a marvelous breakfast and so many goodrestaurants around. If we would have used it it seems awkward to becharged extra for it.

Review 101：Excellent location with wonderful views, especially from the suitebalcony. Breakfast was out of this world, whaoo! Close to the pooland beach and easy access to running up the winding panoramic roadswas a plus.

Review 102：There wasn't anything we didn't like but next time we would hire a car to get around more. The hotel is also on a hill so quite a few steps to go up and down every day. Bit of exercise though!! There is a mini market shop 5 min walk away with bare essentials the nearest supermarket is about a 40 min walk away. Don't try and walk it in the day as its a killer!

Review 103：A fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were even there to say goodbye to us when we left. It was gorgeous around the pool looking at the lake as you relaxed or swam and was never busy. The resort was about a 20 min walk away which was easier to do in the evening. My 17 year old daughter had a lovely time but it may have been a bit quiet fir her. My 8 year old met a little friend so she was happy. We would definately return to this fabulous location one day as when we travelled around some of the Lake it is by far the most beautiful of locations and we would definately recommend it.

Review 107：-Lacked a restaurant for those wishing to stay and eat rather thanhaving to go out and find a good restaurant. There are lots ofrestaurants within walking distance or by bus to Salo where thepromenade is very pleasant and popular- traffic very busy at times but it is the same all around lake Garda but the hotel is a little off the road - terrace area might benefit from some simple border separating the different rooms portion of the terrace for enhancing privacy where the view is beautiful. - for some (not us) the whole area is hilly so any walking can be strenuous in the heat especially if walking to some nearby attractions

The young receptionist who booked us in was lovely and veryhelpful and the breakfast staff could not be more polite and attentive- lovely pool and relaxing area which was quiet and again conducive to relaxing and unwinding - bus stop at the entrance for those not travelling by car. -lovely flowers everywhere and a real garden feel with lots of walking and cycling trails if energetic enough as well as water based options such as boat rides etc to other parts of the lake. - lovely room and terrace and lovely breakfast and a richly verdant setting with that inimitable Italian feel and atmosphere and culture in profusion. - easy to escape the bustle by accessing the walking trails or cycling if energetic enough in the heat and lots of nature, silence and tranquility available in the hills.

Review 116：This is a beautiful small family run hotel in a very picturesque location. The staff were superb in everyway. We were surprised with an offer to include breakfast during our stay which we had on the magnificent terrace. There are interesting sites to visit and a vast array of eateries within a few minutes drive in both Gardione Riviera and the adjoining Salo.

Review 117：The pool was not open, and did not until 1 May. This was not mentionedanywhere on our booking. Although we were not on a sun-bathing holiday,one day was particularly warm and the option would have been nice.
