Review 3:our room is under the kitchen, when people walked on ,disturb us for sleeping.

Review 4:very very good owner, can make very delicious breakfast. the room is very clean and can see the Como lake.

Review 5:Acoustic is very poor. Next door snorer was a nightmare. Our bed was creaking at any moves.

Review 6:Everything. Nice place. Most of all, the breakfast with local product. (we recommend the father's homemade Bresaola 30€/kg in the village's butchery)

Review 7:We were given a very warm welcome by Alessandro, received a lot of useful and interesting tips. The charming house is situated very scenic above the lago. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast with all kinds of regional cheese and sausages, homemade cake, fresh orange juice and many other delicious food. Many thanks! We enjoyed it very much and hope to come back soon.

Review 8:Going home!

Review 9:The owners were very hospitable and welcoming. Comfortable rooms with a great view. Great location on the Lake. Lovely authentic Italian home.

Review 10:Alessandro was a very kind host. Everything was dreamy about this place: the room, the fantastic view, the balcony, and also the delicious breakfast with fresh and local products. I recommend this place and if I ever come back to the lake of Como, I would love to stay here once again.

Review 11:Stunning position and view. Breakfasts excellent, help with planning, owner went beyond mere B&B with a meal and transport when no bus available and help with luggage.made Como even more enjoyable

Review 12:We had a wonderful stay at Ca' Spiga! Cannot recommend this beautiful family run B&B and Alessandro (our host) enough, he looked after us so well! We will definitely be returning. Becky and Skye

Review 13:A B&B with personal character and a mindful and unobtrusive host. A stay at Alessandro's place is highly recommended - not only for his selfmade pastries!

Review 14:Wonderful communal atmosphere, charming decor and amazing views. Loved breakfast every morning. Alessandro is an amazing host that we can't wait to visit again soon.

Review 15:nothing

Review 16:Alesandro is an excellent host and made our visit comforting and we were made most welcome. Alesandro gave us plenty of advise on where to visit around the lake.I felt i was staying at a friends house with total freedom within his property. Many thanks and see you again.

Review 17:Location for finding a wide range of restaurants.

Review 18:Hospitality of Alessandro was great! He was open / clear in his communicaton - he even greets his guests with wine AND he said goodbye to us with a very nice souvenir! The place is amazing with its view and the rooms are like in an Italian movie!

Review 19:I just can say that during the night some clever driver thought the road was a circuit, and some car noises disturbed us, but nothing important. Hard to find it by car or even walking! You have to be early to park closer. If not you should make it downhill.

Review 20:Attention. Alessandro & bro always are taking care about any detail. Really good and intelligent people. Breakfast: incredible cheese and natural orange juice, with homemade cakes!

Review 21:Bed was a bit too soft but I guess this is personal preference.

Review 22:Lovely old house renovated in original Italian style. Location is good, restaurants and beach are walking distance away. Our host was very helpful and made us brilliant breakfast.

Review 23:Alessandro made the experience unforgettable. The hospitality and the breakfasts abundantly exceeded our expectations. We will certainly be going back again!

Review 24:It was very hot, 37 deg, during our stay and although there was a desk fan it would have benefitted from a ceiling fan or even a/c

Review 25:Fabulous views from our rooms and a lovely characterful house. Alessandro looked after us very well, was very welcoming and served a delicious breakfast of local produce in the morning.

Review 26:Our stay was very special because of our perfect host Alessandro. He added so much to the atmosphere of our stay. His expert advise of the area and wonderful tips and ideas where very much appreciated. Wonderful vacation!! We cannot wait to return.

Review 28:We have nothing negative to say.

Review 29:The staff was very friendly and helpful. Alessandro was a gracious host and makes you feel welcome and he fixed fabulous breakfasts. We loved the place and it's location. Our room and balcony overlooked Lake Como. What a view!

Review 30:Not a negative, just notes: - Traffic noise can get a bit much during the day, but you'll find that everywhere along Como area. Close the window for those afternoon naps. - Make sure you follow Alessandro's directions, fool proof if you stick to it

Review 31:Fantastic host! Alessandro's words: "It's my job to treat people" Immediately made us feel welcome. Helped with restaurant and itinerary suggestions. The breakfast and homemade treats were fantastic. Ask Alessandro to put a bottle or two of wine in the fridge for you so that when you get back from a day out you can enjoy a nice cool glass of wine on the balcony and savour the views.

Review 32:Leaving we would stay much longer if we could

Review 33:The view from our lovely room. The location. The breakfast selection. The host Alessandro a friendly and helpful guy.

Review 34:Alessandro, was absolutely the most gracious host we've dealt with...from the initial booking until the last minute of our stay! Right after the booking, he sent an welcome message and provided us with package information: how to get to the villa, what to do during our stay, map of the surrounding area. Once there he offered coffee and a delicious homemade strawberry tarte and instructed us how to make the most of one day stay in Lake Como. Upon our return to the villa he served wine and crostini with ham and cheese...amazing! I couldn't believe our luck to have found this place and meet him! The villa is beautiful, situated on a quiet street, our room was very spacious, spotless clean and wonderful decorated. A true Italian decor. We had a nice balcony overseeing the lake, the view was breathtaking, day and night. The bathroom is also spacious and very clean. Breakfast was beyond dreams...with homemade chocolate tarte, butter cookies, organic honey, apricot and strawberry jam, various types of local cheese and meat specialties from Allessandro's parents butcher shop. Everything was beyond expectations ...it felt like we visited our relatives in Italy or an old friend. I've recommended this place to all my friends, family and colleagues, I keep on bragging about it making everyone jealous! It was truly an amazing experience, perfect pairing with Lake Como itself, the most beautiful place I've ever seen so far in my travels.

Review 35:The room and view were fantastic. Nothing was a problem for Alessandro the host - he was very helpful and informative and the breakfast was fabulous. Everything home made.

Review 36:Almost everything was perfect: only bad too soft for our test Place difficult to find, literally have to follow step by step instructions which owner sends. Forget GPS. 200m walkfrom parking, but was not bad.

Review 37:Was amazing experience, like staying with italian family. Two brothers are running the hotel and both are amazing chefs: pizzas in stone oven, bread, cakes, salame: all home made. Rooms are charming, owners are gathering local old furniture. New bathrooms very clean. Amazing view from all rooms.

Review 38:Nothing, having to leave.

Review 39:Everything. We had a great view, great breakfast with nearly all home made goodies and an excellent host. We felt very much at home at Ca' Spiga, thsnkyou Allesandro and to Andrea his brother for the pizzas.

Review 40:Nothing.

Review 41:The Breakfast, Comfort, Hospitality, Kindness and big heart of the host. Very clean and well designed amazing, each room has his own privacy and quiet.

Review 42:What an absolutely wonderful stay we had. Lovely lake view room with a comfy bed and breakfasts were amazing! Great selection of local meats and cheeses and the coffee was fantastic. Alessandro is the best host and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely local restaurants and is a great base to explore the lake if you have a car. We can't wait to start planning our next trip!

Review 43:We had a wonderful stay, Alessandro and his family were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, and their local knowledge is amazing. This place is a true little gem and I would definitely return.

Review 44:Really cold in the rooms but loads of blankets can help which are in your room.

Review 45:The service was top notch, location, breakfast, and the gift that we received at the end of our stay. We will for sure come back during summer.

Review 46:Alessandro is great host, always ready to give you advice on things to see, where to eat.. This B&B simply hasn't got minuses; i strongly reccomend it!

Review 47:It is impossible to find the B&B. Don't even try - just call the owner. The room was quite ascetic. The WiFi connection was very poor.

Review 48:There was an excellent view from the room's window. The owner was extremely helpful and nice. We also appreciated a wholesome breakfast, mostly consisting of local and homemade products.

Review 49:Absolutely zero complains.

Review 50:This little B&B beats honestly every other accommodation option around Lago di Como. Ca Spiga has a lot of lovely character with valued family history. The house is well-kept with spotless rooms and bathrooms. The view to the lake was breath-taking and the breakfast was stunning. We had read praising commentaries about Ca Spiga but our two-day visit exceeded those already high expectations. Overall, we felt so welcomed by Alessandro and relaxed upon our departure. Will definitely stay here again.

Review 51:- Very good Communication, so we could find the place wether it was very well hidden - Nice atmosphere - Very helpful personal ( thanks Allessandro), so we got a good overview to places worth to visit in the local area . extraordinary breakfast, very very delicious things on the table :)

Review 52:We didn't want to leave!

Review 53:Breakfasts were amazing; huge selection of local cheeses and meats, home cooked pies, fresh OJ, cappuccino, and more! Alessandro is the perfect host, and goes to great lengths to make breakfast very special. The view from our room and balcony was wonderful, scrupulously clean and quiet. We shared the modern bathroom with only one other room, gorgeous location, and heaps of help from the staff/family.

Review 54:A little bit Cold in the Room , 2 or 3 ° more would have been appreciated

Review 55:The Host is very Nice and Helpful. Old House restored in cozy style , Fantastic Breakfast Home Cooked and Family Fresh Products Nice Room with Incredible View On Como Lake

Review 56:Because it was the down season and we took the bus into town, we had a hard time finding anything that was open. There was only one grocery store that was open but happened to be closed each time we walked by. Next time we will plan ahead and bring some snacks in case everything is closed.

Review 57:CaSpiga was everything we were looking for. The house is a beautiful old building situated on a hillside with great views of Lake Como and the surrounding towns. Alessandro was an incredible host. He happened to be in Como when we were so offered to pick us up and give us a ride to the B&B. He was extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. We had the most amazing breakfast, including: cold cuts, 6 different kinds of cheese, croissants, homemade apple pie, yogurt, fresh fruit, and local butter. We ate like royalty! The best hospitality I have ever experienced. Will definetly stay again if we are ever in the area.

Review 58:Nothing. I wish we had more days to stay there.

Review 59:Very beautiful place, the room is very comfortable with a great view of the lake. The breakfast was great, fantastic pastry and a selection of cheeses. Alessandro is a wonderful host.Everything was amazing.

Review 60:Great location in a comfortable room with adjoining bath and access to patio. Andrea was fabulous and the breakfasts were spectacular. Loved the company and meeting Mom and Dad. :-) Definitely would go back and bring friends!

Review 61:the place is hard to find but Alessandro was kind enough to send us a meeting point and his number to make sure we find it.

Review 62:Alessandro is a wonderful host and person, very kind and extremely helpful. He know everything there is to know about the area and more, and is very happy to explain. We really enjoyed his hospitality from the arrival, when he welcomed us with a glass of wine, cheese and a warm conversation. His breakfast is the best!!! The room is very comfortable with a great view of the lake. Location is perfect, close to the main attractions of the lake. Amazing place and owner!

Review 63:Alessandro was a really nice host, very comfortable room, good bed and a fantastic, spotless bathroom. The breakfast was seriously the best we've ever had anywhere, a fantastic selection of cheeses, cold cuts and pastry, great bread and lovely jams. For a really "true" experience, we can only recommend CaSpiga!

Review 64:Alessandro's hospitality takes some beating in this charming B&B in an idyllic location. We were welcomed with wine and local produce to sample and the breakfast was a fantastic spread including more local cheeses and meats plus a delicious tart made by Ale. We have stayed in many places up and down the lake over the years, this is the first one we would really love to return to.

Review 65:Once you overcame the walk to and from the road, it was not really a big problem. The lack of Restaurants in the immediate area could be a problem for some.

Review 66:Our Host made us feel as though we were visiting a friend. Alessandro made sure that all our needs were catered for. The facilities in both the bedroom and ensuite were excellent as was the Breakfast in a convivial surrounding

Review 67:We absolutely loved this B&B and will be going back at some point. It is tucked away in the little cobbled streets behind Laglio and the views are gorgeous. The breakfast is to die for and it felt like a real home away from home due to Alessandro's hospitality.

Review 68:Alessandro is a great host and staying with him is fantastic right from the booking: we reveived an email with an excellent route description, we were welcomed with local wine and cheese and dinner reservations were taken care off. the room was very clean and tastefully furnished. After a rich breakfast with the best cappuccino ever we were sad to say goodbye! I'd definitely go back!

Review 69:It is a little difficult to find and some people may find they don't like climbing the steps. We managed with two heavy suitcases.

Review 70:Spectacular views of the lake from our room. Unique experience at an authentic lakeside community. Away from the tourist shops and restaurants. Attentive, informative and welcoming host, Alessandro. The wonderful local produce provided for breakfast, including Alessandro's home baked fruit tarts. The house has been Alessandro's family home since the 1840's and he makes it feel like your home while you are there. I particularly enjoyed chatting with all the other guests over breakfast or a glass of wine in the evenings. The local restaurant La Locanda was excellent.

Review 71:Owner is waiting for you with hospitality you will find nowhere! You will receive all information's what and how to see in the region. But first you will find outstanding breakfast after a night in huge comfortable bed. Do you need to meet Italia you should start from this place - Alessandro house.

Review 72:Ale is the perfect host, offering good advice of the lake and villages based on his years of knowledge living there. He also supplies local treats on arrival, breakfast and departure... The food is amazing. The b&b itself is overlooking lake Como, and literally a 5 minute walk to get to it. Lovely place and the owner is brilliant.

Review 73:Lovely situation with room over looking the lake. Great breakfast and a fantastic host to greet us and answer all our questions on what to see and do in the area. Would recommend this B&B for couples young or old as well as families.

Review 74:nothing. I wish we had more days there.

Review 75:I really like the owner Alessandro and the way he trated us. We feel like a part of the family with all people who stayed in B & B. Great food and location!

Review 76:Our bed mattress was very hard!

Review 77:We loved the location and easy access to other towns, walking distance to to the lake and restaurants. Alessandro is a wonderful host and bakes the most amazing chocolate and fruit tortes. Breakfast is incredible and you'll never have the same again! Lovely room with full view of the lake, sun streamed in each morning.

Review 78:We enjoyed our stay very much. Allesandro is a very nice host, breakfast is great and a very good location near the lake with nice view. It really felt like being home abroad.

Review 79:We liked everything in Ca' Spiga. Alessandro (the owner) was extremely kind on his way, i loved the way he treated us, we enjoyed our stay, and we 've been there only for 2 nights, sad we had to go. Everything is way to clean and cosy. Ca' Spiga has vibe. You will be total surprised! We loved it! And we plan to visit this place again soon! :)

Review 80:The location overlooking Lake Como was perfect! Tricky to find without directions, but a gorgeous view of the lake. Alessandro, the proprietor, was wonderful! He is friendly, fun, and always accommodating, as well as multilingual. He and his mother and brother bake the breakfast pastries, and put on a lovely spread. What a jewel of a find! We will be back!

Review 81:A little difficult to find (final part on foot via narrow unnamed alleyways) but worth the effort!

Review 82:Very slick rooms & bathrooms, amazing views & most of all an incredible host (v welcoming, speaks excellent English, free beer, antipasti & a goodbye present!!)

Review 83:A bit limited on bars/restaurants. Long climb down to Locanda restaurant which was okay but overpriced - then again this is Lake Como!

Review 84:Too marks for enthusiasm from Alessandro and Andrea. Amazing hosts. Great room and garden views overlooking the Lake. Great breakfast.

Review 85:We really loved this place! The rooms with a wonderful view over Como's lake, the breakfast, the location. I definitely would recommend this place. It remained me my grandmothers house.

Review 87:Ca'Spiga is a gem of a place. The host, Alessandro is so welcoming and has made a real effort to make all guests feel at home. The attention to detail and the natural beauty of the place make it a pleasure to visit.

Review 88:Ca Spiga was a perfect place to stay. Located in Laglio, it was a much more charming village then Como. Less tourists and you might even see George ;) Great restaurants within a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Alessandro was such a nice and thoughtful host. He even welcomed us with a beautiful apèro of local meats and chilled glasses of white wine in the garden with a panoramic view. The room was spotless, so so clean. And the breakfast... well... It was unforgettable. He baked a chocolate tart that I will dream about for months, and everything was local even down to the honey! We would recommend this place 101% ... the only problem we had is that we did not stay longer! Next time.... Thank you Ca Spiga! -Mieke & Romain

Review 89:We loved that B&B with his antigue charme, his old kitchen and the view on lake Como. The friendly owner Alessandro prepared us a wonderful breakfast with handmade food and things from the region.

Review 90:This is a fantastic place in a beautiful location. Alessandro was so welcoming as a host and helped us make some plans to make the most of our stay in the area. We had to 2 of the best meals ever based on his recommendations. The B&B itself is beautiful - a lot of care and attention has gone into every detail. Our room was large and had a great balcony area with a stunning view of the lake. The garden is also available to guests. You can easily walk down into the village and the surrounding towns are also gorgeous. The breakfast was fantastic, spoilt for choice - with Alessandro's home baked goodies, and meat & cheese from his Father's deli - could not ask for more. We will definitely be back!

Review 91:We really enjoyed our stay. The hospitality was great, the house very nice, original and authentic while at the same time very comfortable and with all the facilities needed. Breakfast was great as well with so many local products. Alessandro is a great host and gave us a very warm welcome and a lot of nice information for sight seeing. Next time we will stay longer.

Review 92:Nothing

Review 93:Everything. The view was fantastic and breakfast was Also very good. Should try the cappuccino made by the owner, Alessandro. He waa also so kind that he helped us when we had a problem with our car. Highly recommend to stay here.

Review 94:Pillow not so fluffy, but they could fix that for you.

Review 95:Very cosy in the old part of the city. Nice to have "family" breakfast with local food. This is as charmtroll as it gets! :)

Review 96:Finding the place was a little difficult, especially by car.

Review 97:The view is astonishing. The bath facilities were over expectations, and the room is nice and traditionally decorated. We really enjoyed the access to the common kitchen, were we also served a nice home-made breakfast (and pies made by the host himself).

Review 98:If you are looking to experience this region for all of its glory and authenticity then this would be the place to call your vacation home base. CaSpiga is the kind place where you come in as a guest and leave feeling like you have a new family in Italia. Ale was an amazing host. He goes above and beyond to make sure all of his guests are comfortable and experience Laglio/Lake Como from the perspective of a local. This is where he grew up so he takes great pride on the level of service he delivers. His breakfasts are divine and feature all local goods. It's a mini foodie tour of sorts. His baking skills are exceptional so bring your best appetite to this one of a kind breakfast. The B and B itself is gorgeous, historic and very clean. The views from every room of Lake Como are surreal to say the least. I can go on and on :). I will certainly be back soon....

Review 99:It's a lovely little Italian town, but not much to do. No access with cars due to narrow roads.
