Reviews for Al Pescatore

Review 1:We asked for a triple room and when we got in the room it was only a double bed and a small extensible bed which was not prepared because "they forgot"

Review 2:The view is wonderful

Review 3:None

Review 4:Ottimo, Cefalù ė una città bellissima, if we can. We want stay here for days. I love here, I'll come and live here next time. It's very good trip and vecation for us

Review 5:The owner, Anna, and her staff were so welcoming and friendly. The information provided was honest and helpful. I loved the family dog, Baru! For the price we paid to stay here, it was everything we could've asked for and more. Was a short drive to the centre and an even shorter drive to the port. Lots of information available on what to do in Cefalu. Wish we'd stayed an extra night. Free wifi worked really well, air conditioning was a godsend. Free parking too. Grazie Anna! Alla prossima! :)

Review 6:Easy to find; within walking distance from center of Cefalu'; parking availability was very good. Breakfast was plenty and good. The staff made sure we were satisfied with everything. Excellent !!!!!!

Review 7:It's more of a B&B than a hotel and the second B is poor. When the cafe next door is closed (Wednesday) there is no coffee, no nothing. The nearest shop is a 500 m hike up a hill and the nearest restaurant is a similar distance.

Review 8:You don't get much but you don't pay much either. What you do get is a decent bed in a decent room with friendly staff. The cafe next door isn't bad either and is a bit of a meeting point for the locals so always some buzz in the evenings.

Review 9:Pricing is a bit steep for what is offered (100EUR/p.night for a double in peak season; 70-80 is what th ewhole Hotel feels like), no elevator so bring strong arms when carrying heavy bags to the second floor.

Review 10:Nice view, nice atmosphere in a small hotel with an authentic Italian bar in the building, old town and beach within a walking distance (though the beach could be closer). Extrapoints for Baru, the reception dog :)

Review 11:good location near the port, no problem finding a parking spot. Excellent bar/cafe attached to the hotel with very reasonable prices. All staff very cheerful and helpful Access to Lido on the beach 10 min. walk to the old town.

Review 12:Breakfast is italian style. Everything is fresh especially the Croissants are wonderful. I would suggest that some tea bags, hot water & boiled eggs are added. Wifi connection is poor from the rooms. Outdoor furniture needs updating.

Review 13:We liked the parking facility and the hotel location. Bathrooms are clean, relatively modern and functioning well. Staff are helpful.

Review 14:Ants in the room

Review 15:Far from the sandy beaches, if you want to go there you should have a car and be relaxed in a jam and while you'll try to find a parking place

Review 16:zero

Review 17:Parking in front of the hotel, helpful staff, good breakfast, comfortable beds, trip to the old town along the coast, it is 15 min walk

Review 18:The view from the balkony, the big room, the breakfast, good parkingplace, close to Cefalu citycenter

Review 19:The breakfast could have been better. The coffee machine had a mind of its own giving you sugar when not asked for and spewing milk behind the cup instead of in. Many people suffered at its hands!! Yogurts and cereals appeared on our last day because I think someone complained although you could eat as many pastries and cakes as you wanted.

Review 20:This hotel is on the outskirts of town in a beautiful location overlooking the port. The room overlooked la rocca which is the huge mountain behind the town. We like walking so the 1 km walk up the hill was perfect for us. There was a cafe next door which we used for snacks and coffees which was great.

Review 21:No breakfast on our first morning (bar-cafe next door). Breakfast OK the following days.

Review 22:View of the Cefalu Rock in the back of the hotel. Quiet private balcony. Clean room. Very nice Staff. Nice distance from downtown, ideal for a morning run along the sea. Great recommendations for restaurant from hotel staff.

Review 23:Not many negatives but one for sure is the size of the shower cubicle. None of us are very big people but we all struggled with the small shower. No tea and coffee in the room but I guess that's because they have a coffee shop attached to the hotel. Coffee shop and road a bit busy at times.

Review 24:Having read a few reviews on Al Pescatore we were a bit dubious about what we were going to get, but I have to say we were very pleasantly surprised. It's a great little hotel, nice and clean, rooms clean and comfortable and the water power in the shower was great. The staff were very friendly and Baru the hotel dog was great. Breakfast was a typical European theme but all good quality and plenty of it, and for 3 Euro's each fantastic value for money. Good sized balcony with a sea view. Despite what some reviews say, the walk into Cefalu is no more than 20 minutes at a slow pace with stops for photo shoots!

Review 25:Poor furnishing, small bathroom. We have little kid with us and they don't have elevator for the pushing chair. We couldn't pay with card whit which we do pre booking.

Review 26:Excellent breakfast with a lot of choices of the food. The young receptionist was very helpful and kind.

Review 27:Very poor breakfast. The bread was not nice which is unusual for Italyand neither was the coffee.

Review 28:Everything was fine. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious andclean. Plenty of parking nearby.

Review 29:The hotel is far from the historical city center. Located next to the busy road, it was noisy at night. the city itself is small.

Review 30:fairly large rooms, rooms with a sea view and the pine forest nearby

Review 31:Really sparse accommodations, busy street, less than average breakfast. Two outlets in the entire room.

Review 32:We had a car and found it convenient enough to Cefalu

Review 33:internet only available at the reception, not in the bedroom. the "discount" for the local restaurant is actually a shot of the local alcohol, and not a discount. as we have to drive to get their, not very recommended..

Review 34:next to the cefalu beach and quiet location good rate

Review 35:The shower cubicle too small - ok for small people but not big guys like me.

Review 36:An excellent hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is varied and enjoyable. A shop attached to the premises was useful. It was good value for money.

Review 37:I loved this small hotel. If you want to feel real Italian atmospherethis is a place to go. It has a little cafe on the ground floor wherelocal people meet to have coffe and chat all day long. It is not a fancyhotel but it is nice and clean and it is run by very friendly family.

Review 38:I personally relished the short 15 minute walk into Cefalu' following the coast road with its stunning views. However, anyone with mobility issues would need transport into the little town.

Review 39:I was delighted with my choice of hotel from the moment I arrived. Simply can't recommend it, its wonderfully friendly and helpful staff, and its beautiful location highly enough.

Review 40:WiFi only available in public area, but signal good.

Review 41:Easy parking. Pleasant, viable walk round to the charming town of Cefalu.

Review 42:nothing

Review 43:I very much liked the location ;a short and very pleasant walk to the town around the bay.Very clean and excellent value for money.

Review 44:no breakfast during off-season time

Review 45:comfortable and nice room with a big terrace; 15 minutes by walk from the old town; easy to find by car

Review 46:Excellent, friendly staff. Nice breakfast.

Review 47:- rather old shower (but clean)

Review 48:- location in very beautiful and quite place, near the mountain and the port - spacious rooms with big terrace

Review 49:Shower was without the wall !

Review 50:shower was tiny.

Review 51:nice walk in to town.

Review 52:Not really walking distance from town, luckily we had our own transport....

Review 53:The views are good, facing the sea.

Review 54:Nice room with nice view Helpful and friendly staff Good-sized room and bathroom

Review 55:Price quality correct

Review 56:Far from the city

Review 57:Room with balcony
