Review 1：this was actually the second time we stayed here but to be honest all of the things were better in our first experience. (i.e. food was great in 2011 but it was just decent this time) I borrowed a lighter from staff then it got lost(perhaps due to my mistake, i don't know) but waking me up in the middle of the night for 2 times was not very nice.

Review 4：Extraordinary breakfast with coffee, cornetti, bread, cheese, ham, tomatoes, eggs, housemade jam and fresh peach juice. Awesome view over etna, castiglione and the alcantara valley. Very friendly hosts, who made every effort for our comfort. Communication in English was without problems. Parking directly at the place. We would recomment to also have dinner there, its very tasty. But you won't cope with full menu ; -) ...

Review 5：Agriturismo Ghiritina , run by a very friendly and delightful owners that went out of the way to made us feel welcome and made our stay very enjoyable. Great to see genuine and friendly service :) Absolutely stunning views of the mountains near by including the view of Mt Etna from our terrace. Amazing breakfast in the restaurant/pizzeria on the property, with locally made cheese and locally grown produce. The wood-fired Pizza's, baked by Chris, were to 'die for'. One of the best we ever tasted in Italy - Thank you Chris. We definitely will stay there again. Thank you.

Review 6：Lorenzo and his friendly house made as just feel at home! he cooked for us many local specalitys and took care for our wishes! We just stayed for one night, but the nature around us (etna, his animals, gole alcantara) and the friendly Lorenzo want us to come again!! Rooms are friendly and quiet - everything perfect! :)

Review 24：No reception area to check in, owner demanded our passports and we only got them back the next morning when we had settled the bill. We were both a bit frustrated because he didnt speak english. Our room had a view of etna and the surroundings but it was littered with rubbish, and right next to the football field, our gate was in the goal post, so we had the ball kicked against the gate all afternoon. There was some sort of communion party going on, kids screaming and running around everywhere till midnight, we couldnt enjoy the peace & quiet or beautiful view, let alone our dinner in the restuarant. They have an amazing area under a gazebo outside the restuarant, but we were told we could only eat inside, such a shame, the weather was lovely, all the tables outside were empty. When we complained the next morning after a bad nights sleep due to the literallly high pitched constant non stop screaming and the dogs that bark all night, the owner got all upset with us, then a table with 3 german ladies joined the argument, supporting him saying we should not have come to sicily because screaming kids, running around through the inside & outside of a restuarant is normal. They also have about 7 goats and a sheep that are stuck in an enclosure with no food or water, terrible. This place would be fantastic with new management. Or else make it clear that it is not suitable for overseas tourists, only italian families.

Review 25：View of etna is amazing Room was clean Resturant staff really did their best, excellent service bringing drinks to our room, food is delicious especially the authentic pizza oven.....despite the language barrier - no one speaks english, only german & italian.

Review 26：We liked everything in this place, the accommodation staff was very helpful at all times. The location is beautiful if you want to stay calm and as soon as you go out of your room you find nature. Nice sized pool and nice breakfast! All in all we enjoyed our stay alot! Will surely return

Review 28：The owners are very friendly and helpful, they also have a restaurant/pizzeria in the property. The views are spectacular, form the terrace we had a direct view of Mount Etna. And our little one enjoyed the goats and the cats walking around. Really calm and relaxing environment.

Review 31：We went out of season (mid February) and our room was very cold to startwith, as it was an outside bungalow. The bathroom was very coldthroughout our stay. The main building was also very cold, and we werethe only guests staying there. A lot of the advertised attractions wereclosed - this was a problem throughout Sicily - would not recommend atthe time of year we were there.

Review 32：The setting with the view of Mount Etna The relative ease with which youcould drive to other places in the east of Sicily Friendly staff who didtheir best to accommodate our requests even though it was hard tocommunicate (we would have had great difficulty if we hadn't know abit of Italian ourselves). Good pizzas Would recommend in season - canimagine it would be a great place to stay for a few days.
