Review 1：It was very hard to locate, maybe the motel could post on there page that it is located opposite Toyota Dealer to help with directions.
Review 2：The room was really great and every thing worked.
Review 3：Said it had Austar but didn't. Not all channels on the TV worked, but no real biggy.

Review 12：There is some road noise if you leave the windows open on the road side but use the air con and close the windows if you are a light sleeper.
Review 13：This Motel is only a short drive to town, had plenty of options re take away food or restaurants. It is also only about a 20 minute drive to Lismore and surrounds.
Review 14：We arrived a bit later than expected and so the office was closed but we contacted them on their mobiles. They had left a key for us. We informed them we were going for a meal, on our return they were in the office for us to actually book in. It was excellent service and with a smile.
Review 15：We were woken each morning around 6.30am with tradies sitting outside their rooms smoking & talking loud. The smell of smoke is suffocating as it somehow filtrates into other rooms. What happened to the "4 mtr law".

Review 17：Very friendly owners, great room.. loved the comfy chairs and reading lamp, the bathroom dispensers, comfortable bed..all we needed was there. Impressed by the Thank you for staying with us email..all the years of travelling, that has never happened before.
Review 18：Only problem was the walls are not very sound proofed and I am a light sleeper !!! I would ask for a quiet room however we were there on a busy holiday weekend so fully booked. There was a graunching noise when neighbours turned shower on.

Review 21：Kylie, the manager, was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable and have everything you need. It is in a nice location not too far away from town.
Review 22：Some traffic noice from main road though it settled down after 10pm. Smell of room freshener. Location was convenient ( close to some shops and restaurants) but not scenic or in town. That said Ballina is a small town and no where is too far to travel.
Review 23：The Motel was a renovated older style apartment with all the facilities you need for an overnight stay. Linen was excellent, bed comfortable, tea and coffee, fridge etc, very convenient.

Review 26：Hotel staff were very friendly and made great suggestions for dinner. As we had travelled a long distance that day, we were happy to find a place with walking options. Situated a little out of town, but was quiet at night, even though on a busy road.

Soft & Firm pillows on each bed; extension power packs for all our things that need charging; large smart tv; microwave; huge shower head that makes you want to go out & buy one for home! And located close to Dan Murphys, Restaurants & Bunnings :)

The bathroom was basic but fine and all was very clean. We mostly stayed because of the proximity to Byron Bay (about 30 minutes drive) and enjoyed it overall.

Review 60：The room looked like it was recently refurbished. It was bright, clean and quite spacious for two people. The reality was much much better than what it looked in the photos provided. In-room facilities include hair dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and even two beach towels! Will definitely come back if I ever visited the town again.

Review 66：Michael and Kykie are very nice ! The roon was great, very clean. The bathroom is big enough with a nice italian shower and all products (body cream, soap, shampoo, conditionner ...). Closet, fridge, toaster ... Confortable bed !

Review 68：We really were surprised by how good our stay was as we thought we were going budget. This place may be cheap in price but the experience of down to earth and helpful staff and management was priceless. I couldn't fault the place and it was constantly full, testimony to its demand. We meet regular travelling who always stayed there. I enjoyed the place better than our more expensive lodgings in Surfers Paradise.

Review 74：Was absolutely blown away with the quality of the room for the price. The bed was very comfortable, the facilities in the room were excellent and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Would heartily recommend the Chaparral as one of the best value for money motels I have ever stayed in.

Review 77：Clean, quiet, comfortable with staff who go the extra mile. Being in our twilight years, grab rails in toilet and shower were a plus. Seldom have we encountered this in other places.
Review 78：We were allocated room with factory directly behind that had a generator going all night. Even with windows closed the noise was terrible. I spoke to the reception next morning and was advised as they back onto an industrial area that can happen. If we had been allocated a room at other end of building the noise would have been far less. The motel was not full, so they didn't take any notice of our request. If anyone has a problem with noise I wouldn't suggest staying here.
