Review 1:Wifi was only optimal in the lobby.
Review 2:The location, friendliness of the staff, candor about local amenities, and pride they took in their region and city. Frankly, it was moving.
Review 3:it is so noisy because of the engines that work in the building. the bathroom smells bad. it is not worth for the money. it was a business trip. but probably i would not go there again.
Review 4:the location is great and the staff was helpful
Review 5:Location to a few restaurants. Reminded us of Christchurch with all the broken buildings but good to see they are rebuilding, restoring what they can.
Review 6:There is no Wi-Fi on the last floor of the hotel. You need to step down in the hole to get internet connection!
Review 7:The staff is very kind! It is very clean! The best part for sure is location! You are in the center close to market, bars, bus station and the beautiful Parco del Castelo!
Review 8:Very basic rooms without any decoration. If you like a plain old room here you are at the right place.
Review 9:Location was ok, staff was very helpful and nice.

Review 21:Central location, comfort.
Review 22:* room very hot and could not turn down heat so needed windows open all the time * front rooms very noisy as a congregation spot out the front on street * internet spasmodic on higher levels of hotel
Review 23:* proximity to old area * taxi rank outside hotel * some staff could speak english and helped out with information * concert auditorium across the road * large room
Review 24:Personell were fair, breakfast was fair, getting information in English was almost non-existant.
Review 25:This hotel is an average hotel, it is in a good location if you're interested in the downtown area.
Review 26:room facing street had excellent views over Corno Grande Mountains but room was very hot and we couldnt adjust heating so needed to have windows open all night. street below was very noisy every night as it seemed to be an assembly spot for the young locals.
Review 27:walking distance from intercity bus drop off, old area, park, taxi rank. staff very helpful and friendly.
Review 28:The receptionist was very very nice and helpful and explained us a lot of things about L'Aquila and the earthquake and the damages and the torments the residents have gone through the last 5 years. We have visited the town 4 times before and have stayed at Hotel Castello when the city was a vibrant, exciting city ands it was a huge shock to see all the damages We will be back to Hotel Castello soon again ;o);o)
Review 30:Rooms were outdated, furniture old and IKEA stile and very simple. Breakfast was a joke, a lot of sweet cakes, no cheese or cold cuts, no eggs.
Review 31:Nice location, easy to find, friendly staff.
Review 32:It is not the hotel, but L'Aquila is still in total ruins (June 2003) after the earthquake, it is a very sad experience to see practically all buildings boarded up. There is life only on the corso, the rest of the city is a ghost town.
Review 33:Modern, excellent hotel, nice room, good service, convenient parking in front of the hotel.
Review 34:Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was very clean and modern with good breakfast. It is very convenient for enjoying the spectacular mountain scenery.
Review 35:The hotel is located in the very centre of L'Aquila. It is very convenient to get anywhere around the city. There are plenty of restaurants and bars near the hotel. Staff is freiendly, especially a lady that works in the restaurant. The restaurant offers a nice breakfast and great coffee. Rooms are large and newly renovated.
Review 36:The Hotel is a bit soul-less. It is a hotel for commercial travellers and not for leisure purposes.
