Review 1：The setting was amazing, with a wonderful terrace looking out over Lake Garda. The staff were friendly and helpful and they recommended several things to do and visit.

Review 2：Very poor facilities in bedroom. Bed very hard. Tiles cracked around sink and basin cracked. thin small towels. Useless hairdryer. TV didn't work. Fridge barely cool. No flowers/fruit in room (as we would expect in a 5 star hotel) Furnishings very basic. Small wardrobe with only 6 hangars. No make-up mirror or dressing table. one chair in room.Shower was a 'challenge' as comprised of hand held head over bath, shower curtain blew onto body when using shower! Not five star in any way.

Review 8：It's not easy to walk from hotel to other restaurants. Hotel restaurant was very good with impeccable service but we wanted to try something different.

Review 10：Villa Del Sogno was our first mini-moon destination. Arriving at night, we were collected by the staff from the car park. This set the tone for the rest of the trip, which was superb service, delivered faultlessly, and in a gorgeous setting. We particularly dining at the restaurant, both breakfast, and their in house restaurant Maximillian, where food was served on the terrace overlooking Lake Garda - a location bar none. George Clooney stayed here some years ago, they have not rested on those laurels, and have given us amazing memories through a wonderful stay. PS their caprese salad is unbelievably delicious, simply the best we sampled in North Italy!

Review 16：Air con on second floor not adjustable from rooms as broken. Misled by staff initially. It had to be adjusted from reception. Moved rooms as first room had no bath. First room sitting room area very drab. Second room sitting area better lighter furniture and more use as TV there. Older bathroom but had bath. Swimming pool Pretty with nice views but freezing ( in August). Unusable other than by kids or nagged Dads. Very loud music on Saturday night. Fairly extreme jazz for nearly 4 hours. Dominated terrace and bar and terrace restaurant. We went out to avoid. Told it would end at 11 pm. It did not. Finally stopped at 11.45 on second request. Very old, interior with heavy furniture - mis matched fabrics, carpets and net curtains ! Overpriced. Not worth nearly 500 Euros a night for B&B. Good food but only if eat outside. Internal Dinjng Room ghastly. Go to the Grand Hotel Gardeno Riviera instead.

Review 33：Excellent service by immaculate staff, they only forgot our early morning tea in the room once but as soon as we phoned up it was promptly delivered. Restaurant and American bar service excellent and superb food with a good choice. Room great with huge terrace and sea view. A 20 - 25 minute walk to town but probably exercise wore off some of the food intake at breakfast.

Review 34：Location up a steep hill meant either a drive or a walk to any restaurant or to the lake front at Gardone. The other 5 star hotels are on the lake so have much better positions. The bathroom was dated and tired, badly in need of updating . No one staying at the hotel seemed to have dinner at the very expensive restaurant which made it a very unappealing prospect .

Review 80：Villa del Sogno is an elegant hotel with first class service which provides an oasis of calm from a busy world. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff who are helpful and friendly. A wide choice of food is available at breakfast and delicious food can be ordered throughout the day from its excellent kitchen. The views across Lake Garda from many of the rooms, as well as the terrace and pool, are beautiful. This hotel provided such wonderful respite from a busy work schedule that we intend returning as often as we can.
