Review 1：Room small and no windows, gave a feeling of being closed in.

Review 3：Too far out of Cefalu, the free shuttle was often full and could not be booked. Our room was not in the main hotel and was very clean but had no window, only a glass door so a bit dark. Shower very small.

Review 12：Cleanliness of the hotel, room to park a vehicle and friendliness of the staff. The nearby sandy beach was excellent and the fact the beach had a lifesaver employed by the hotel was great.

Review 13：Single room was quite small and bathroom was really old fashioned. Tv worked well only when the toilet-light was on...! There were a lot of mosquitos in the garden by night (and some came to my room from the window).

Review 14：Peaceful hotel with good services. The pool area with bar was ok and the sandy beach (500 metres away) was nice too. The dinner was served in the garden, so romantic! The best thing was the shuttle service (with car) to Cefalu center (and back to the hotel) every day - also they picked me up from railway station, when I called them one hour before my arrival time.

Review 21：The staff at Baia del Capitano could not have been more helpful, courteous or welcoming. Each staff member from the bar tender (who makes a phenomenal cocktail) to the reception staff (who brought a printed copy of our ticket for our boat excursion to us at the bus stop at 7am when I forgot it) made us feel like valued guests! The hotel was spotless and the pool it's surrounds were picturesque! Highly recommended.

Review 46：Unfortunately we stayed only one night there before returning to the airport at the end of our 17 day round trip in Sicily. It was a marvelous hotel, excellently suited for a visit of Cefalu and still far away from the busy city. Excellent facilities and access to the beach. Very good supper next to the swimming pool.

Review 58：This is most definitely NOT a four star hotel, more like a two star at a push. It is very dated and the bedrooms are small and dark. The location isn't great. The breakfast is awful - a four star hotel does not give you squash instead of orange juice. We stayed here for three nights, paid the equivalent amount to staying in a genuine four star hotel in London and were disappointed with this hotel. We love Sicily but we will not be returning to this hotel.

Review 75：Pleaseant location near the sea. Nice open-air terrace for breakfast,and garden for dinner. Rooms clean and comfortable.

Review 76：The room we were initially given was a very small twin room with two single beds. We asked to be moved into a double room, which they did without any hassle which was great. But they did charge us 15 euros per night extra which we agreed to pay. It wasn't a lot of money to pay but it would have been a lovely touch if they'd moved us at no extra charge. This also isn't the hotel for you if you wish to be in the heart of Cefalu. There are many ways to get there easily as mentioned above but this hotel is a bit far out of town. Also, the drinks at the bar were quite expensive but I guess this is to be expected in hotel bars.

Review 77：The hotel's grounds are lovely and the pool area is very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are lovely views of Cefalu from the hotel's roof terrace. Our room was very large and spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and offered a nice enough selection of foods (fruit, cereal, cheese, meat, bread, eggs, bacon, drinks etc). The hotel is not in Cefalu as such, it is in an area close by called Mazzaforno. It is a short drive (10 minutes) into Cefalu and the hotel also has a freee shuttle service. There is also a local bus which runs about four or five times each day in and out of Cefalu which costs a few euros each way. The free welcome drinks offered was a very nice touch and we had a delicious cocktail each.

Review 78：Easy to find just off the motorway exit! Very close to Cefalu historical centre but away from the hustle and bustle!! Was welcomed by extremely friendly and professional English speaking front desk!! Had a lovely spacious, spotlessly clean room!! Relaxed by the pool and had an amazing dinner!! Absolutely delicious!! Flambe definitely recommended!!I would certainly return and stay longer! Personal attention at all times! Staff very kind and helpful! Perfect location to visit neighbouring sites and towns but at the same time to rest and be pampered in peaceful surroundings!

Review 79：No tea or coffee facilitys in the room was a great bug bare of mine i like to wake early have a coffee then eat later and late into the night although they did bring me coffee and tea i didnt see it as a perk ! It was annoying when your on holiday you tea in your pjs i felt i couldnt order late at night or early morning as the staff might be busy

Review 84：I felt that the Baia Del Capitano provided excellent value for money on our stay. We got a lovely room, the hotel is spotlessly clean in all aspects and the pool area is nice also. We had lunch there on one day in the olive tree grove and it was superb. We stayed in nine different hotels during a trip to Malta, Sicily and Rome and this was one of our favourites.
