Reviews for Il Borgo Della Rovere
Review 1:Bed was uncomfortable as anybody can expect from a sofa/bed.
Review 2:Beautiful view from the apartment. Sea shore is 5 min walk away. The city is tranquil and close to further beaches (next city), to famous places (Monaco), to real italian beauties (Cervo). Staff was very very friendly and helpful. Sonia is the best anybody can ever wish for, she is the most helpful and caring host I ever met. Patricia was also helping in every issue we had. Restaurant on the other part of the apartman complex serves surprisingly good quality food.
Review 3:Just a notice: the closest railway station is 4 or 5 km away, so I wouldn't recommend this place for those who travel without a car.
Review 4:Located close to the main motorway, the apartment hotel is ideal for vacation by car and has two big parking places. You can park for free in front of the hotel or park inside for a small fee. The personnel is very friendly and attentive to guests' needs. When booking, we asked for a sea view, and indeed our apartment had a beautiful view over the sea. Whenever we had a question or a problem, the personnel was most helpful. The apartment was neat and cosy and the kitchen was excellently equipped. Also, the hotel provides free bikes and there is an amazing bike path along the sea coast nearby. Except for the mornings when trucks come to collect waste, the place is quiet and peaceful with an old church and olive trees in the surroundings. High-quality free wi-fi connection. A nice 15 minute walk to the sea.

Review 6:The staff was very kind, the location good , the pool nearby - usefull... Everything simple but clean and in good condition... and I was able to find all I need in the kitchen. Everything quiet and relaxed.
Review 7:The Wifi internet connection was some times unstable
Review 8:Wonderful place for a family vacation on the Italian Riviera. Good facilities, helpful personnel, swimming pool just around the corner, not too far from the beach (10 min walk)
Review 9:There are much nicer villages close by than San Bartolomeo al Mare.
Review 10:Friendly staff. Great introduction at arrival. Clean and friendly. Good parking facilities.
Review 11:A lot of ants in the apartment. Sofa bed for children very bad. Unpleasant/no staff in the restaurant. Tried to eat there twice without success. The pool is on the other side of the street so the kids could not go to the room by them selves. Must wear swim cap in pool!
Review 12:Wifi ok. Pool area ok.
Review 13:1. The place is on the very busy street, from 7 to 9 am cars, garbage trucks pass- all together 7 trucks and overall traffic during early hours. so if you come to rest- forget it! 2. neighbour's dog is let in the garden until midnight and at 6am and it barks at everything and anything. 3. no shower curtain!!! 4. Charges for cleaning are not mentioned until you check out! surprise of 20 euros 5. parking was pre booked by cc but no private parking
Review 14:Very clean, plenty of soft and clean towels. Patricia is lovely and helpful.
Review 15:can be noisy if apartment is on the road side of complex
Review 16:Staff, facilities
Review 17:Quite, good location, clean, very friendly stuff, kitchen, bikes, for sure recomended.
Review 18:It was really hot summer and we have needed an air conditioner
Review 19:Very helpful staff, quiet area, nice swimming pool
Review 20:Nice photos,worse reality
Review 21:Beds were a little bit unconfortable
Review 22:Friendly staff, nice pool area and beautiful view.
Review 23:The shower cabin is very-very small, you can hardly use it. There's no microvawe oven in the kitchen.
Review 24:The staff are very kind and helpful. The hotel and the enviroment of the hotel are very friendly. There are a little playground and playroom.
Review 25:When I booked I assumed we would be staying in the yellow apartment block as featured in the photos, but we didn't. The apartment we stayed in was very small, dreary and dark, the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The furniture was dated, the chairs in the apartment were stained and there was a serious lack of storage space. The balcony was very narrow, the balcony furniture was chipped and dirty, we just about managed to squeeze the 4 of us around the table on the balcony. It was noisy at night and we were woken early every morning by the noise of the sprinklers and the trains on the nearby railway track. When we complained to the owner about the size of our living space (considering I'd booked for 4 adults) she was very abrupt and unhelpful. San Bartolomeo al Mare itself doesn't really have a lot to offer, we struggled to find a decent restaurant. They really need to invest in Air Con, wine glasses would also be useful. Overall a very disappointing and uncomfortable stay.
Review 26:The nearby town of Cervo was lovely with good restaurants but you do need transport to get there.
Review 27:Quite charmless town. Outdoor place not to good on our appartment. Nowineglass (should probably just asked for it...) Restaurant La Femmeclosed the 2-3 times we checked (but open when we have reserved another place)
Review 28:Nice, not overcrowded pool. Friendly, helpfull staff. Breakfast service.
Review 29:No, NO AC (air-conditioners)! A little bit far from the sea - 15 min walk, but there is bus to the sea for free.
Review 30:Perfect territory for family with children, tennis courts, good views from the 2nd and 3rd floors, great patio with greenery territory for the apartments on the ground floor. The bus to the sea for free. EVERYTHING in the room is prepared (kitchen stuff and wardrobes) - excellent. Good Wi-Fi.
Review 31:The furniture of the apartment was tired and beds in particular extremely old and uncomfortable, making massive noise when you were moving sides, this aspect needs serious improvement.
Review 32:Spacey apartments with excellent outdoor private space in the garden. The pool was great and the location with regards to St Bartholomeo al Mare very handy.
Review 33:Furnishing in apartment is not the most comfortable I have seen.
Review 34:Very nice place, calm and quiet. Playground for children in place. Nice views, pool, farmer stand open daily with fresh vegetables nearby (at greenhouse complex).
Review 35:Friendly staff, loan of bikes, within walking distance of the supermarkets and quiet location. We didn't have a car and managed well. We cooked and the apartment had all we needed including a balcony. WiFi good.
Review 36:Excellent staff, silent place, the best for family
Review 37:~10min from the beach, quietly
Review 38:Location very quiet although at 10 mins from the sea, the lady at the reception was really nice
