Review 14：Villa Sofia was just perfect to relax in a quiet location. However the area offers easy access to the lake front and to local restaurants where you can eat well. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Review 16：Absolutely beautiful hotel with fantastic attentive staff. Room was spotless and very comfortable with stunning views of the Lake. We were on the 2nd floor at the poolside of the hotel with a private balcony. Breakfast was superb and served in the garden when fine. The pool area was clean with ample sun beds and pool towels were provided. Location is a 15 minute walk from the water front shops and restaurants and a similar walk up the hill into the old town with lovely restaurants. Parking is good at both the front and rear of the hotel. You must use this hotel it will not disappoint you. May be a little difficult to walk to the restaurants if disabled but is only a 2 minute drive and parking is available close by. An amazing stay.

Review 35：Although it didn't bother us, the hotel is a few minutes walk up a very steep hill. Perhas not suitable for people with walking difficulties, especially as parking on the lakeside is very restricted. Some evenings it would have been nice to eat in the hotel rather than have to find another restaurant, although there are plenty around.

Review 36：The hotel was small and friendly and was in a lovely position with views over the lake. The room was very comfortable with a generous-sized bathroom and the balcony over-looked the swimming pool and the lake. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Review 37：The bathroom was huge and very well equipped the only hiccup we had was there was no cubical or shower curtain which made the floor very wet and slippy after use, I would recommend the hotel addresses this as it could be dangerous for some guests.

Review 44：Villa Sofia, set in a lovely garden setting half way between the lakeside town and the old hillside town, has a relaxing environment. Parking was excellent and the air conditioning worked to perfection. The staff was very professional and helpful. The pool, after a day of sightseeing and hiking, was refreshing. Breakfast was more than adequate, though some items were missing for early risers such as ourselves and our friends. Our room had a nice balcony with a lake view even though it was located on the garden side of the hotel. We have stayed here before and would not hesitate going back.

As we are non smokers, and dislike breathing in other peoples smoke, we had no alternative but to sit indoors in hot temperatures, with no air con. It would have been pleasant to have enjoyed the fresh air during breakfast.

Our flight back to the UK, was a late evening flight from Verona, but we were made very welcome to use all the Hotel facilities from our checkout time of 11am until we departed at 5pm, and a light lunch in the shaded garden was excellent. Breakfast was good with a huge choice and everything was spotlessly clean. The position of the Hotel is a short walk uphill from the Lake , but makes it a quiet & peaceful location.
