Reaction should be from the begining like after 45 min discussion during the night!

Review 41：Older hotel in need of upgrade. Pools were nice but small issues (uncomfortable lounge chairs, ants, dirty jacuzzi). Dinner restaurant was very disappointing. Our first room had a strange smell and sound of running water in bathroom. Second room had wind noise from the windows (not sealed properly). The TV only worked first day even after reporting the issue to front desk. WIFI was spotty at best, requiring constant input of random generated alpha/numeric passwords. Most guests sat in the lobby to use the "Guest" WIFI access which didn't require login credentials. Bathroom had a small handheld shower/outdated tub with annoying curtain.

Review 42：The location is convenient to the Rapallo promenade, train station to Cinque Terra and ferry to Portofino. The view from the room was exceptional. The breakfast location, food and service was outstanding.

Review 43：The hotel is up on a hill. If you are older this might be an issue. Then again the whole are might be an issue if you have trouble with hills. The food in the smaller on site restaurants was very overpriced.

Review 44：The view is stunning. The building is very attractive. The pools and sun tanning areas are beyond anything I've experienced before. You have the choice of two pools, a couple of hot tubs or, if the mood strikes (and the weather is ok) you can swim in the Mediterranean. Even if you don't like sitting by the pool the views are stunning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the main restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast.

Perhaps an issue of my hastiness in navigating the Booking.com site rather than a disclosure issue (reducing additional research of day/price combo options) but a surprise nonetheless. The price averaged to what I expected, however.

Room service: they can't give you a corkscrew, you need to wait until waiter is opening wine and if you'd like to open another bottle you have to ring again, no wine glasses in the room. Breakfast was not the best and the choice is poor. Sauna and SPA are not the best, especially sauna but they are doing the new SPA as I can see, so it will be good one I hope

This was without doubt the best of the 4 an5 star hotels we stayed at. It always helps when you get an unexpected upgrade, but the friendliness and professionalism of the front desk staff was truly impressive. I normally don't recommend anything, but I''m more than happy to do so here.

Review 89：From the minute of arrival, we knew this would be a great hotel. The staff meet us outside the front door and took our luggage to the front desk. The Front Desk staff checked us in quickly and even provided with an upgraded room. We were then escorted to our room with our luggage right behind us. The room was wonderful and had a balcony with a direct sea view. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a wide variety of food. All was delicious! The service was outstanding throughout our entire stay. We only wish we were able to stay longer.

Review 93：The lady at check-in had trouble finding my name in her computer-systems, so it took her 5-8 minutes to check us in. For this inconvenience we got upgraded from a double room with no ocean view, to a junior suite on the top floor with amazing views of the harbour. The room was of great size, and even had its own luggage room/walk-in wardrobe. Everything was clean. They cleaned the room in the morning, but during the evening they were by to change any towels and tidy up, as well as provide us with a fre bottle of water and a note telling us to have a good night. Great service! Resurant is very good. In the upper price segment, yes, but you get exceptional service and great italian dining. Anyone on Booking.com saying this hotel is far away from the city center is lazy. We spent 7 minutes walking to the center by a beautiful harbour. If that's to hard to overcome, I'd suggest you stay at home.

This time specifically I traveled with my dog and there was a bag waiting in my room with dog food. This is such a nice gesture and really appreciated this. Also I had lunch outside in front of the bar this past Saturday afternoon and the gentleman serving me was nothing less than perfect, catering to every need and ensuring a beautiful experience. I have stayed at 5 star hotels all over the world and I must admit I would recommend you to any colleague traveling to Italy. Review 119：We booked Junior Suit and the hotel assigned us a room at the upper floor with big bow window facing the sea. The room is newly renovated. It is very spacious with panaromic view and comfortable bed. The staff in the hotel are all very nice and provide good recommendation on our trip to Cinque Terre. The hotel is in a good location that is within 10-15 mins drive to Portofino and 15 mins by walk to the town of Rappalo. We are also very lucky to grab a public parking space for free during our stay. We did have a very pleasant stay with the hotel. :)

During the day it was very good but we would wake up in the middle of the night and the room was very warm. I suspect they were adjusting the set points on the system to save energy.
