Review 1：A bit pricey at the bar. Not the easiest to get to from the train station but there is a bus and ferry

Review 3：-2nd floor rooms are hot to the point that the air conditioning cannot cope. Moved to 3rd floor - much better -Gym is poor, but I didn't choose the hotel for this

Review 12：The staff was surly and dour. The beds seem to be made of local stone slabs from the nearby mountain, with pillows to match. The room...a "deluxe"...was so small we could not unpack. A/c was hardly existent and the wifi so weak it would not keep signed in.

Review 15：From the moment we arrived we felt at home in this wonderful hotel, and were delighted with our 4th floor room overlooking the Lake. The staff in all departments were very helpful & professional - and nothing was too much trouble. Situated in a very tranquil area, Gardone affords the perfect location to visit the many bustling, and beautiful towns around the lake.

Very cute town Salo (is highly recommend, especially for music Thursday evenings) is in 20 minuts walk/5 minutes on the bus. Review 51：Having read some reviews we were a little uncertain if this hotel wouldfulfill our expectations as a relaxing base for a week at lake Garda,but it did. We travelled with our 18 year old son who was made to feelvery welcome. We loved the the pool, which was never crowded, very cleanand a perfect temperature. Although Gardone is quite, there was a goodchoice of restaurants within walking distance if we didn't want to usethe car. On Saturday night complimentary prosessco and canapés wereserved on the roof terrace that has a wonderful view.The staff were veryhelpful and the hotel was run with a real sense of care that extended tomaking sure guests enjoye their stay. Breakfast outside by the pool wasexcellent but we were glad we didn't have half board as it was good toget out and soak up the atmosphere in several other towns.

Review 52：There was one very grumpy/unhelpful waitress but the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and courteous. For this standard of hotel I wasn't sure about the buffet arrangement for breakfast but the range of food was good. They need a new toaster!!

Review 53：Very nice hotel right on lake edge. Our trip included an evening meal which was absolutely excellent. The rooms are large and very comfortable beds. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the town and other towns, the lake and also within an hour or so of Verona and Milan. I would definitely return there and could highly recommend it.

Review 54：The location is perfect,it is right on the lake and very close to all the restaurants/bars.Also the lake ferry boats are at the end of the promenade (check very carefully the timetables as there are some strange operating times) The room we had overlooked the lake and was beautiful.
