Review 1：Lack of airconditioning. Had hot weather and the room heated up during the day. Pedestal fan in room was not very effective.

Review 3：Very good value for money as it included a huge cooked breakfast. Rooms are simple but have everything you need including a tv and fridge. I'd happily stay here again!
Review 4：Our bathroom was reminiscent of a soviet punishment cell, an effect heightened by the bars on the windows. There was no air-conditioning, and no way to open up the room, leaving it stinky and airless. Our window provided a great view of the oil-spill in the car-park.

Review 13：In room 19 we found ski gloves under the bed. in room 25 there was 15 empty cans of Jim Beam under the bed and in the bedside table. I cannot believe these rooms were not cleaned properly. The blankets were not cleaned and placed in plastic bags in the open shelving. They were shoved in without any care or concern. Could not sleep on the bed as when you sat on the bed the cans crushed together. Where is your Quality Assurance ?

Review 15：Shabby desperately needs a refurb, rooms 14 to about 20 are directly above the bar so spoiled sitting on the balcony because of people smoking and of course noisy with all the chatter. I would hate to be there when it is busy!

Review 29：the room had mould in the walls near my sons bed" very bad! The shower and toilet area had hair in the corners that wasn't ours. Needed a good scrub.the double bed was collapsed in the middle.

Under the bed was disgusting, used plastic cups, plastic and dust very thick. We thought this was poor for the money we were paying.

Breakfast was not very good, specifically bacon sausage and coffee. Noise was high at late hours. Stair well smelled so bad it made me gag. Presumably smell was coming from laundry room. Cigarette smoke from other rooms wafted into our room.

Review 45：The staff have zero care for the guests at the hotel. The rooms are filthy (the back of the bathroom door was smeared with toothpaste, the cups in the room were filthy and there was residue on the bathroom floor which would have been cleaned up by a relatively quick sweep and mop). We were aware that it was a live music venue and tried to book well in advance to request a room at the back of the hotel away from the nightclub. That request was ignored. Do not stay here if you value a decent night's sleep. Apart from the noise from the nightclub, the staff do nothing about the noisy drunken yobs returning to their rooms. The venue plainly only cares about the revenue from the pub and nightclub, and only sees the hotel guests as a means of covering costs. We will not be back.

Review 51：The plumbing in the room rattles at night every 30-40min like someone isbanging on an empty metal drum. The worst is the nightclub/live bandthat is so loud we checked out at 1am in the morning on Friday with a14months old baby. The room next door had 6-7 young adults drunk whowouldnt shut up.The hallway is noisy with people coming up and down thepub, as there is no security and anyone can come up to the roomlevels.Not to forget the stench of beer that fills the corridors. Whenwe checked out the receptionist didnt even bother asking us why, eitherits a normal thing or care factor is nil. Do not go there the breakfastbuffer is not worth the trouble spend a bit more and have a good nightsleep. Maybe on a Monday or Tuesday night but if you are thinkingweekends think again as there website mentions live music on Wednesdaysas well.And yes they give you ear plugs in your room --what a joke!!.Bottom line -noisy, not a safe feeling with drunk adults swearing andcoming up the corridors from outside, rooms need major renovations- wifidoesnt work in the rooms. Again do not go there guys seriously

The price of beers changed depending on whether my partner or I went. She got them cheaper than I did. When I did wait at the bar he usually ignored me. He'd be an utter liability when it gets crowded. The room had a strange smell.

Review 59：great spot to stay in, had a room at the front so overlooking the lake, lovely. The food was very good, we eat there both nights as well as for breakfast. We were worried that there would be noise from the bar below but it was fine, no problem. All good, parts look a bit dated but it was clean, and what we expected, for the price.

They had live music and a night club most nights, and hence didn't sleep much until after 2am when it finished. Then our room was right next to the laundry which started at 5:00am every morning.
