Review 1：There isn't much space in the Lobby where breakfast is served and it might be difficult to get a table depending on the time you have breakfast.
Review 2：Very good location, in front of the station. Has no WiFi in the room, but free LAN connection. Includes breakfast.

Review 11：My family planned to stay at Toyoko Inn Aomori-eki Shomen-guchi during October 20-21, 2014 for 2 nights. When we arrived the hotel about 10.30 p.m.on October 20, we got bad welcome from the 2 women. They didn't try to answer any questions we asked. Their faces looked like furious all the time. We were very frustrated. They made our family lose good feeling with The Toyoko Inn. In the next morning, we were still meet them in the front desk while we were going to have breakfast. One of them looked us insanely. We felt upset. However, in the evening of that day, we didn't see them anymore. We got good service from the other receptionists. We felt better. Please be noted that we are always happy whenever we stay at Toyoko Inn, Japan. But that was the first time we felt bad. Hope you will introduce that 2 women at Toyoko Inn Aomori-eki Shomen-guchi how to perform to the guests politely. We promise to continue the good customers of Toyoko Inn. With kind regards,

Review 13：Breakfast was a zoo with a small eating area and a long line. Gave up and passed. Given only one key which also served as a power switch. Inconvenient.
Review 14：Reception staff is under-trained. We asked for our big luggage to be retained for 2 days as we will return to the same hotel after our countryside tour, they flatly refused. Not until we have to summon a Japanese friend to beg for exception did they escalate to their manager to seek permission! It makes overseas guest want to reconsider about staying in hotel as such that runs on strict SOP (Standard Operation Procedure), without consideration for guests.
Review 15：Location is superb! Next door to train/bus station and lots of food and shopping in the neighbourhood. The majestic bridge is in the 'backyard'! Comfortable and well maintained hotel! Helpful ladies at breakfast room, always on the look out to top up items and what guests need.
Review 16：One of the staff refused to help us on the bag delivery document which was written in Japanese. None of us could read japanese. We asked her to write down one example for us or at least give us a clue and we would fill the rest, but she refused. So we had to ask other guess around the lobby to help us for example. It wouldn't take so much time to explain and we were so disappointed with the her. Anyway another staff was nice as usual.

Review 19：We liked the location and free breakfast. We did not expect such a large Japanese breakfast. It consisted of white rice, seasoned rice, eggs, meatballs, miso soup,fresh vegetable salad, pickles, bread, coffee, tea. Might have forgot other foods. Room rate was very low.

Review 25：I stayed other big name hotels in Aomori in the past. (not Nabuta season) They were old, expensive, just ok to stay. Even on the Nebuta days this Toyoko-inn was nicely quiet and so convenience! Everything was compact, of course, but the bed was nice size. The bed sheets was too short, though :) I will use this hotel again for sure. Although I didn't try, they have free Japanese style breakfast, too.

Review 51：Perfect location! It just a minute's walk from the Aomori Station and bus interchange so you can catch a train or bus to anywhere from a stone's throw away. Also, the Aomori Tourist Information Centre is just in front of the hotel. And the main shopping street is just downstairs. Impeccable location
Review 52：I like toyoko inn. Because of its convenient location, reasonable pricing, good breakfast, amenity and good hospitality. I was disappointed in this one because of two reasons. FrontDesk staff was not particularly friendly, failed to make me feel welcomed. I was very surprised by their lack of good attitude because Toyoko Inn in other locations, such as Hachinohe, were excellent. I was also disappointed that this facility didn't provide a sleep/bathrobe. Other Toyoko Inns provide fresh clean white robe that you can pick up from a sterilized cabinet.
