Review 1：The location was right where we wanted to be. the old city is still in disrepair and if you can visit the centro you will see how bad it must have been.

Review 4：The staff is extremely friendly and professional. Rooms are spotless, wifi is reliable (not that usual for Italy), everything is well-organized and reasonable. I requested a tea kettle and a tea cup in my room, and got it! The location is also great. The only thing I could think about that perhaps makes sense to improve is to make breakfast more italian (whatever it means :).

Review 6：I have family just outside of L'Aquila and we have not been back since the earthquake. This hotel is a perfect place to stay when in town. So easy to get to from the bus station and in a great location in town. Staff was amazing and so helpful. I can speak some Italian but the staff knows plenty of English for those who do not know the language. I hope this hotel thrives and the city returns to the gem it once was. If in Rome, I highly suggest a night or two venture to L'Aquila.
Review 7：Oddly difficult street address to locate by Navi. Confused with another street in village 10 km distant! Had to call hotel for cross street, which worked perfectly well.
Review 8：Lovely staff, who made us feel welcome all the time. No question was too silly for them to answer with a smile and useful information. Nice mountain view from 4th floor balconey rooms.

Review 10：The staff is very kind and hospitable. The lobby, bathrooms and rooms with hardwood flooring are kept spotless. The linens were clean and fresh smelling.The morning continental breakfast was good with enough options and the cappuccino was wonderful!
Review 11：L'Aquila city centre still suffers the consequences of the 2009 earthquake, the city is full of construction during daytime and a bit of a ghost town at night, with only a few places catering to people searching for a bite to eat or a drink.

Work is going on all around to repair the very many damaged buildings--we had never experienced this kind of place before.
