Review 1：The hotel is located in a very noisy area with loud music at night, especially if you are on the street side. Bring ear plugs, because the view of the castle and old town from the balcony is worth it.

Review 4：Great location with view of the city. Very friendly staff (owners?). The nice thing is that you see the city from the hotel every time you walk to it (2 mins.) This is a plus, because the view of Spoleto is an important part of the attraction of the city, besides being in it.
Review 5：If renovated would it be excellent place but right now is like a journey to early 70's. Literally. If the style was kept on purpose once again it would look great but now is just old one. Also breakfast could be better but excellent croissants!

Review 9：The step in the lobby between the lift and desk is very dangerous despite the staff warnings and luminous sticky tape. I fell flat out and bruised my knees. Much worse possible. Recommend putting in a ramp. Breakfast coffee variable and always too strong. Hot water should be supplied.

Review 11：The view from the room (ours did not overlook the town, the rooms need updating very badly as everything seems warn. The bedcovers are very rough like burlap.

Review 36：The proprietress is a wonderful, gracious lady! The hotel staff wasfriendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. They were very kind inproviding not just an early breakfast on our last morning, but the fullbuffet (which we did not expect!) It is one of the few hotels in Spoletowithin easy walking distance to the train station. Good internetconnection in the room. Big rooms.
Review 37：The room was right on a busy square, so it was rather noisy. Also, it received the afternoon sun and so became rather stuffy and hot. I asked the desk if I could use the air conditioning, but they said it was turned off, because it was October. However we certainly could have used it. We wanted to explore the old town, but were not told about the escalator that goes up to the castle. The climb to the main square and the cathedral is rather steep, and even after taking the escalator, it was not clear (to us) how to descend to the level of the cathedral.

Review 41：Wonderful hotel and highly recommendable! The personnel is very friendly and helpful and the hotel is really nice inside. The whole place was kept very clean. Our room was large enough for four people and very comfortable. The balcony, too, was nice and offered a good view. The bathroom was quite spacious and clean with everything we needed. The breakfast is sufficient (and exceptionally rich and diverse for Italian standards). The hotel is also ideally located at the edge of the old town. The dome, castle, etc. are close by, and the train station, too, is within easy walking distance. Altogether, the perfect hotel for a really pleasant stay in the charming town of Spoleto. Excellent value for a very reasonable price.
