Review 1：In view of the tragedy of L'Aquila, the hotel is great, But no restaurant! Cook does not know what the salt and pepper! And it's in Italy! It is better to buy food in the store.

Review 2：It was a bit of a walk up a steep hill to reach the center of town, which individuals who are not physically fit may find challenging.

Review 9：Room dark, barely any storage space- one wardrobe, no cupboards or drawers at all. Nice(ish) bathroom but bedrooms no longer have the character they once did. very, very sad.

Review 10：Visited this hotel before the earthquake and it's good to see they are up and running again. The hotel is central to the old town which is sadly still pretty much closed and deserted - evidence of the terra muoto everywhere even 6 years on.

Review 11：Bed was a bit hard. Restaurant nice but perhaps a bit overpriced - we were there during the Alpini annual reunion 300,000 people - so the prices may reflect that.

Review 12：Location is near the 99 Cannele fountain, which is lovely. With the rest of L'Aquila a ghost town, this small hub of activity is perfect. It's also near the train station and the relocated museum (when it re-opens, now scheduled for June 2015)

Review 13：Sadly L'Aquila is still recovering from the earthquake which struck here in 2009. There are still numerous homes and buildings that are abandoned or destroyed.

Review 16：The hotel was welcoming with a family feel and nothing was too much trouble. It was interesting to discuss the owners experience of the 2009 earthquake. A short walk from the hotel brought you to a scene of this dreadful disaster which leaves a dramatic memory. Hotel 99 cannelle provided a comfortable and pleasant location in a city facing a mom umental reconstruction project amidst medieval streets and piazzas

Review 25：The hotel is on the outskirt of L'Aquila and has been very carefully restored. We hope that the rebuilding of the town goes well, once this happens you will probably need to book months ahead.
