Reviews for Fattoria Lischeto

Review 1:Too repetitive breakfasts as for a long stay. Kitchen equipment quite used with a bit too random composition of tableware.

Review 2:Great personnel. Very authentic feeling of the Tuscan farm. Size of the facility vs no of appartments ensuring intimity. Views from all corners of the compound stunning. Perfectly located swimming pool nicely exposed to the south-west.. Artistic flavour with sculptures around. Perfect spot to further explore Tuscany without being in the car more than an hour (great deal if you travel with kids). Self-made cheese (amazing ricotta), yoghurt, olive oil and even cosmetics in the bathrooms. Fantastic skyviews each night (nearest artificial lights outside of Lischeto about 2 KMs away). All the above, together with minimized civilization amenities such as tv or A/C make this place a perfect choice for all looking for authentic Tuscan ambient.

Review 3:Because there is no air conditioner, there should be mosquito net in every window in both room and bathroom. In our apartment there was only in the bathroom. We missed the vegetables at the breakfast.

Review 4:Swimming pool, nice view from there and also from the room (1st floor). It's a working farm and we like the animals/pets, but if you don't then it's not your place. There are cats and dogs free at the place. A lot of nice places, areas near to the farm. The owner and the staff was kind and helpful. If you have dog don't leave it at home!! :) Unfortunately we did... It's perfect place for travellers with dog(s)

Review 5:Wi-Fi is free but works only in certain areas.

Review 6:A very friendly staff, good location and pleasant atmosphere. You can buy locally made cheese and neighbour's wine in the shop. Nice views of the nature of surrounding hills.

Review 7:Small thing, but there's no A/C, so even though it cooled off a bit at night, and there was a fan in the room, it was still a bit warm.

Review 8:This place is fantastic, but you have to want to be pretty remote. It's only a 10 minute drive to Volterra, but a good part of that drive is on a very small rural road. Once you get here, it's pretty amazing, as it's nestled amidst sheep, and the beautiful hills surrounding Volterra.

Review 9:We were there only one night with a company of five. My wife and I were in the small studio. It was a bit dark and the door tricky to handle but the room was very clean and comfortable. Only one negative point, no soap in the bathroom. Pool, dinner and environment are all a great experience. For the price we paid overall a very good deal.

Review 10:Wifi was not available in our room, had to sit out side the office to connect, when the office was closed. Unfortunatley, an incident occured, which we found very upsetting....

Review 11:The place is rundown. It is more like a Travelodge from the 1990’s, with a pool, on a untidy farm, than an Agriturismo. Rooms are clean but outdated. Staff are miserable (except for male owner). They seem only focused on their evening meals (which are supposed to be good). Shop was closed all day on a Saturday, though their website says its open daily. We were told it would be open 9am Sunday but it didn't, so we left without buying any of their farm produce. Breakfast was okay but the floor had just been cleaned with bleach so room was stinking. Nothing to do or see except use the pool or view the miserable looking animals who look neglected. Our first bad experience in Tuscany. It was so disappointing as it has so much potential.

Review 12:The Location was stunning

Review 13:Giovanni is the BEST :)

Review 14:The room was quite hot at night. Air condition would have been good.

Review 15:Shower, cooker, flies.

Review 16:Swimming pool, breakfasts, dinners (awesome), staff, the place.

Review 17:it's far from everything, the way to the town is very difficult

Review 18:the beautiful place

Review 19:They were having trouble with their Wifi so to connect meant having to be very close to their office.

Review 20:When we arrived it was by a drive down a country gravel road. We loved our room which was spacious, with a table and chairs outside on the patio. he bathroom was excellent with a great shower. The morning breakfast was in a great eating room with the other guests which was particularly nice as it allowed us to meet a great couple from Holland and talk both days we were there. The setting is serene and unlike any of the other places we stayed on our trip. It is a working farm with wonderful views. It sits on top of a ridgeline with vistas in all directions. If you want to be in the Tuscany countryside this is the place. Would absolutely visit again.

Review 21:Wifi was only available near the office

Review 22:We were greeted with a warm welcome and a glass of Prosecco. We ate dinner twice during our stay here and the food was incredible. It was a family dinner atmosphere and the wine just kept coming!

Review 23:Location is not that close to the big cities: from the nearest city - 30 min by car Very difficult to reach the hotel without a car Expensive lunch and dinner

Review 24:Family hotel Friendly and helpful staff

Review 25:Very difficult to find the location. You definitely need to ask for themap in advance! No air conditioner in the room. No tv Very bad WiFisignal Quite loudly when tourist groups are coming over for cheesfactory visit.

Review 26:Charming village-style ambience Adorable donkey Gorazio Great dinnerwith local products

Review 27:The apartment was clean and comfortable. The staff helpful as I mistakenly made a reservation for 2 not the 3 we had and they simply moved us without a problem. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The area was beautiful.

Review 28:The grounds were refreshingly vast and quiet; countryside, relaxing. We enjoyed the farm style breakfasts, the comfortable rooms, friendly staff.

Review 29:A bit more light in tje room would be great
