Reviews for Residenza Le Logge
Review 1:Staff was not always available; breakfast offerings were awful! The breakfast room was lovely, but the food & beverages offered were sub-par. Room lighting was also dim.
Review 2:Great location! Staying in a medieval B & B that retained authenticity, but offered modern conveniences. Hosts included a lovely dog to greet us :) Very nice to have the 2nd bed in it's own little room.
Review 3:The coffee machine never worked for us, but that is a small thing.
Review 4:The location was great and easy to find. Valentina was friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable.
Review 5:Nothing bad
Review 6:Beautiful stylish residence , very clean and comfortable , Delicious breakfast , charming helpful owner and staff . Excellent value for money
Review 7:the room was small and basic located on a separate site from the main building.it was very cold and humid. It rained all the time. The heating wasn't on and no air conditioning in the room to get the room to a confortable temperature. We had wet shoes and clothes with no chance to dry them and it was freezing cold at night.we asked the hotel to put the heaters on. They replied that the local council didn't allow it but other collegues that stayed in other hotels said the heater was on. Payments cash only but it shouldn't be. By law, a credit card must be accepted if over E 25.
Review 8:The location. Right in the centre.
Review 9:No on-site parking. Located down a very narrow side street - be careful when arriving and unloading your car! No air conditioning in the room.
Review 10:Very friendly helpful receptionist who spoke fantastic English. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Brilliant location right in the heart of Gubbio.
Review 11:Clock in the city tower rings every hour, than the quarter, the half and 3quarter. Ex. at ten a clock it rings 10 times, than 10 times+ quarter, then 10 times+ half, 10 times+ 3quarter. In one hour You have to listen the bell ring 30 times +3. Impossible to sleep.
Review 12:Very good ambiance, nice stuff, good location, room very cosy. Tap water is drinking water.
Review 13:Nothing bad. The beds could have been better.
Review 14:Clean, reasonably priced rooms, great location, real value for money, and excellent breakfast. Giorgia was an outstanding host who makes the best coffee and was attentive to all our needs. More than we asked for!
Review 15:Nothing.
Review 16:The location right in the centre of Gubbio is brilliant. It is also quite easy to park reasonably close by.The staff are very welcoming and helpful and the overall atmosphere is both relaxed and professional. The room was clean, attractively furnished in a traditional way and very comfortable. Breakfast round the kitchen table was great with a wide range of things to eat. I would recommend Le Logge very highly and hope to return there at some point.
Review 17:Not sure it was because the guests upstairs were being noisy and inconsiderate or the old ceilings thin, but the loud thuds coming from the room above mine were annoying. Next time I'd definitely request a room on an upper floor.
Review 18:Excellent location, perfect for car travellers since both pay-per-hour and free parking are close by. The place is manned by a friendly young woman, who speaks only a little English (OK for basic guidance and info, though). Spacious, clean en-suite room. Breakfast, with good choice of muffins, sweet bread, cakes, home-made jam, espresso/cappuccino etc.
Review 19:Hotel was easy to get to from the bus stop (took the train to F. di Vico and then the bus to Gubbio), and very walkable to everything in Gubbio. The room was spacious and with a good view out the window (we were on the 3rd floor - only stairs, so if that's a problem for you, beware or check if they have something more accessible). The hotel dog is friendly, and the garden is nice, though we didn't spend much time in it. The breakfast spread is expansive.
Review 20:Breakfast could have been better with fresh bread.
Review 21:Excellent location, very friendly owner, free car park on 200m, balcony, garden, nice room. Good price-quality!
Review 22:difficult to find when GPS no help at all--telephone connection with staff very poor--my Italian not good and staff could not speak English so finally one lovely young lady came to get us at a coffee shop whose name we finally were able to communicate through static of phone service and language barrier.Cieri festival in progress while we were there so some rowdy noises but otherwise fun and lovely.
Review 23:charming staff--beautiful town, fabulous restaurant owned my the hotel's owner
Review 24:The position is perfect, Residenza le Logge is located in the city centre (you can find Palazzo dei Consoli with a five minutes walk), the suite is big, tastefully decorated in traditional Tuscany style, the bathroom is huge with a jacuzzi
Review 25:I liked absolutely everything: location, the room (with a bedroom and sitting room, with a kettle and tea, coffee), nice view. The hostess, Anna Maria, gave me good recommendations about restaurants - and those were great. Valentina at the reception was extremely helpful and made a fantastic cappuccino. Oh, and Mia, the dog, so welcoming and lovely, so hospitable! I spent two very comfy nights and would like to be back. Grazie mille per tutto.
Review 26:would like a mirror in the bedrooms and perhaps better lighting in bedrooms especially if trying to read at night-time.
Review 27:Liked the location and helpful staff. Organising a wedding so was able to use lounge to speak to people if meeting them.
Review 28:A handle in the bathroom would be very helpful for senior citizens to feel safer
Review 29:The whole experience was most enjoyable; they made us feel lile family
Review 30:Lighting in bedrooms is minimal, often hard to read.
Review 31:Enjoyed being Inside a walkable, charming, walled medieval town Friendly helpful staff Free wifi that worked well
Review 32:the rooms were a little dark but otherwise very comfortable.
Review 33:I loved the feeling of living in one of the village houses- with the windows, stairs and waking to the sound of bells. The markets added to the overall enjoyment of staying here.
Review 34:Must have a cell phone to call staff to open locked doors at reception room mid afternoon.
Review 35:Nice close location in the old town. Close but tight free public parking about two blocks south. Rebuilt villa. Large rooms. Excellent varied breakfast.
Review 36:The staff was amazingly kind and has helped a lot with various advices about the cities and recommending a delicious restaurant. The room was very cute and tiny and the breakfast was very good! Thank you again!
Review 37:Nothing, absolutely nothing to complain!
Review 38:Located in the heart of the old town, this wonderful little pearl is not to be missed! The rooms are very clean, the backyard where breakfast is served during the summer a little piece of paradise, and the staff is just great, friendly, lovely! Huge plus for animal lovers: Mia, the labrador retriever! This adorable girl loves cuddling and she's so calm and sweet one can just fall in love with her :) I'd recommend this place to everybody!
Review 39:Nothing
Review 40:Great suite, with so much room. Fantastic staff and location for public transport.
Review 41:external noise, quality of bed, too close rooms
Review 42:Position of hotel, access to the rooms, breakfast.
Review 43:Serve yourself breakfast- no staff present- coffee machine not working
Review 44:What a very warm welcome, a beautiful place to stay and garden to have breakfast in. We would come back here anytime!!
Review 45:Lovely place. Lovely people.
Review 46:Extremely helpful staff and excellent location! Very good breakfast too
Review 47:Very thin, cloth-like towels
Review 48:View from the room, old but nice building, rich breakfast
Review 49:Nice bedroom.
Review 50:Very welcoming and helpful staff. Easy to find. Great recommendations for sights and restaurants.
Review 51:the lack of elevator , made the difference.
Review 52:the place gives you the best value for money, location, service, room view... every thing grate
Review 53:Very accommodating and helpful host. Good restaurant recommended by host. Interesting town on the side a cliff.
Review 54:Because it is an old building, the room and bathroom were very tight and just slightly musty.
Review 55:The managers were extremely warm and helpful. Breakfast was very complete and beautifully laid out. The place and people have a lot of heart (and so does Mia, the dog). We loved sitting outside in the garden area. Internet worked great and water in the bathroom was hot and good pressure. I would definitely stay here again.
Review 56:Very pleasant, helpful reception. Lovely courtyard. Location, right in the historic center of Gubbio, is a 3-minute walk from pay parking in the square (free overnight), and a 6-minute walk from free street parking beyond ... use these, and do not even think about finding the location directly by car (which is a waking nightmare!).
Review 57:-
Review 58:Everything was perfect, very good location in the old town, beautiful room and view. Very helpful and nice staff, good breakfast. The landlord (Francesco) is the best owner we have ever met - and Mia, the golden retriver as well.
Review 59:Wonderful! Beautiful room in restored house, but with 21st C plumbing! Manager and staff (and Mia the golden Lab) were oustanding. Great mixed breakfast. Located in centre of historic area. Only issue was parking - free park was about 800 metres away, but there is an option to drive to front door to drop off or load baggage. Paid parking is closer (200 m) but pricey at 15 € per day. Overall, highly recommended.
Review 60:We liked everything.
Review 61:We liked everything...very comfortable pretty place in an equally prettytown. Many great restaurants nearby and lots of beautiful cobblestoneroads for an evening stroll. Room was very comfortable, clean andspacious. Owner was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasgreat....couldn't have asked for more....one of our favorite placesto stay on our month long tour through Italy.
Review 62:Everything was perfect for such a short break, location, comfort, cleanliness and friendly staff. I really recommend this place for mature couple. Definitely will come back again. Thanks Francesco :)))
Review 63:Great location in the centre of Gubbio. Very nice rustic room with views over the rooftops. Excellent service from Francesco, who even let us have breakfast and check out late after we overslept!
Review 64:In Gubbio bells ring every 15 minutes, including through the night. Not good if you are a light sleeper.
Review 65:Excellent location in the center, but in the lower part before any steep climb (good if you have luggage to carry). Close to public parking. Francesco is very friendly and helpful.
Review 66:Francesco & Veronica were lovely! They stayed late so that we could check - in past the deadline & were also very helpful during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
Review 67:There is no common toilet in the house. If you once checked out andcoming back to pick up your deposited baggage, you cannot use thebathroom. Neighbor church clock sounds every 15 minutes for 24 hours. At12:45 the hour-bell sounds 12 times and another quarter-bell sound 3times, a bit difficult to sleep if you are sensitive to noise.
Review 68:Good location in historic zone. A renovated small medieval house, just alittle inconvenience is acceptable. The young manager (Francesco) is ofvery nice and friendly character. He will send you an e-mail ofconfirmation in advance. It’s very good to answer. Suggestion fordrivers: There is no sign of the small street “Via Piccardi”. So, askpeople when you arrive at the central traffic circle “Piazza QuarantaMartiri” (where 40 victims were killed by the Nazis). There is a freeparking in front of “Teatro Romano”. It is 5-minute walk to theresidence, if you don’t lose the way passing through the city wall.
Review 69:The owner is very nice man . Hotel is situated in the historical centre of the medieval town . It was beautyful view from our room: the street and medieval houses along this street. Hotel is clean . Ther are the electrical cettle , cups and teabags in the room . All day and night was very calm in the hotel . Gubbio is fantastic medieval town . You can spent all day contemplating the extraordinary atmosphere of this medieval town.
Review 70:Very good location in the historical centre. Clean and spacious room. Nice vintage furnishing in all the facilities. Good value. And, of course, the great staff: helpful, kind and friendly. If we come back to Gubbio, we'll repeat!!
Review 71:- nothing!

Review 73:The owner was very welcoming and friendly. There was a good choice at breakfast. He gave us advice and directions of what there was to see in the area. He also recommended a good restaurant. We were amazed that for the price we paid were so near to the historical centre.
