Review 1：Some parts of the interior of the building (corridors and rooms) looked a little bit run down.

Review 4：The staff was helpful and welcoming, the location perfect for visiting Ragusa, and the rooms were modern and clean. The food was excellent.

Review 5：We stayed before in two of the Catena Hotels del Sole...one in Agrigento, and in Pergusa. The showers are fixed and not modern. Although their furniture is old but clean. Breakfast not so bad except that we had stale bread.

Review 6：Location was great - I could walk to every sight I wanted to see, including to Ibla. Dinner was superb, beyond my expectations even though I had read rave reviews of the restaurant in advance. The dining room lives up to its name.

Review 17：The hotel is a bit outdated and needs a bit of revamp. Our bedroom was a bit smelly and dusty, there was a sewage smell coming from the toilet and the shower head (although very powerful) was old fashioned. I wouldn't spend more than 2 nights here.

Review 18：The hotel is very central, so we were able to walk down to the main attractions in Ragusa. Wifi worked well in our room, breakfast was good (mostly sweet options which is the custom in Italy) and we found the staff extremely helpful and kind.

Garage parking was convenient and the central location in Ragusa made eating out and visiting Ragusa Ibla straight-forward, even if on foot via about 300 steps to the latter. Breakfast provided a good choice with fresh fruit every day.

Management at the hotel, were extremely helpful and personable example I was sick with a cold and Gloria phoned the Farmaci asking if they could stay open til my meds were picked up, when my husband went out for dinner, his remark was that if I needed anything that Gloria would be working that evening. Hotel was physically accessible except for outside curbs belonging to city. Good location for visiting Ragusa Ibla, museums, art galleries

Location - very easy to get to Ibla, bus stop just down the road and esay walk for night bus. Visit the Italy in Africa museum opposite the hotel enterance, most unusual. Garage on site was very valuable. Couldn't believe how little we paid for some nights. Good pastries at breakfast, but the bread was pretty uninspiring.

Location was good, within walking distance to San Giovanni and shopping blvd. Ragusa Ibla can be reached by foot, if you don't mind walking down the hills by steps. The hotel has a good restaurant. Breakfast was a good variety. Free parking maybe difficult to find but the hotel has a private parking garage with €10/day charge. Fast free wifi connection is always a plus.

Review 67：Underground car park - the car was parked for us. Located in the historic centre of Ragusa town but within walking distance to Ragusa Ibla, if you can manage the steps. There is a daytime bus to Ibla, which you can get near by the hotel. The hotel didn't have any information though about the bus, you need to go to the Tourist Information Office, which is near to the hotel, for timetables and bus stops etc.

Review 69：To find a hotel of this quality in Central Ragusa at the price offered was incredible. Excellent location, free parking nearby and pleasant places to eat and drink within a stone's throw. Ragusa Ibla with it's unforgettable buildings and delightful gardens is a short drive away. There is an upmarket restaurant adjacent to the hotel (not visited)

Review 70：Poor breakfast, very bad noise isolation- you could hear all your neighbors steps in the hall, when they lock their doors and when they are taking the shower.

Review 73：The hotel has a garage! This was a great relief, as parking is such a pain in Sicily. The receptionist even drove our car out of the garage when we left - another relief. Good location - it's not in Ibla, but in pleasant surroundings in the other part of Ragusa.

Review 77：I was a bit hard getting there by car now(end of July 2012), since they are rebuilding a lot in the area and my GPS wanted me to go where it was impossible to drive because of closed streets. You basically have to come from the parts of the city that lies down hill to be able to get there.
