Review 1：Everything was just fine.

Review 2：Very attentive family run business. The daughter checked us in a very charming and friendly manner...nothing was too much. She then kindly made dinner reservations for us at a local restaurant which was very good. Next morning it was the father who attended to us, again nothing was too much. On departure, he even gave us a bottle of wine !

Review 6：This hotel is the nicest hotel I have ever seen. It has charm, grace and style. Every little detail is brought to perfection (room interior - rustic style). The owner is extremely nice and kind, he makes every guest feel like having his special attention. Breakfast is served in very nicely decorated room. Every morning it smells so nice, because there is always something freshly baked in the kitchen. The location is perfect for those who want to explore Tuscany - we went to Pisa, Florence, Siena, Cinque Terre... Everything is reachable within one or two hours by car. Hope to go there again some day!

Review 7：The breakfast was acceptable, could have been better. Understandable given that we were there out of season, almost on our own and the restaurant was closed.

Review 8：We took an apartment for just the two of us although it could sleep up to six. We had plenty of space to relax on the cosy sofa and chair. The table was a good size but may have been a bit crowded for six! It was beautifully clean and serviced each day.

Review 9：Together with my parents, we spent a great week in Le Colombaie Country Resort. Lorenzo is a likeable person and a very caring host. He and his staff - especially his two daughters - make sure everything goes according to the wishes of their guests. The breakfast buffet is very varied and of excellent quality. Dining is not possible at the resort, but within walking distance is a small restaurant - Dalla Bianca - with a delicious Tuscan cuisine. The resort is the ideal starting point to enjoy the famous cultural monuments in the cities and the Tuscan villages and countryside. In short, we can Le Colombaie recommend as a great location to explore this part of Italy

Review 35：The staff was very accommodating and was so welcoming even we came later than expected. The apartment we reserved was perfect our family (3 kids in tow) with plenty of space. The facility was extremely clean. The breakfast was great. The owners wife bakes the cakes for the resort and the kids loved it! There is a train station about 5 km if you want to take the train to anywhere. We took it to go to Cinque Terre. Plenty of parking at the resort.

Review 37：This place was excellent! We stayed 2 nights as part of our Tuscany trip. It's close to several small quaint towns and it was clean, quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly and breakfast was lovely. Perfect for what we were doing.

Review 39：The green nature of the resort causes all power to turn off when youleave the room with your key. As a result you can't charge any ofyour electronic devices unless you're in the room. You really haveto search to find the resort...it's pretty well hidden off the road.

Review 40：The grounds were beautifully manicured, the pool was large andrefreshing, the staff was very friendly, multi-lingual and especiallyhelpful, the room was large, clean and well-maintained. They were alsovery kid-friendly, offering gelato and drinks to my children for free.The resort is also near Pisa and Lucca, for day trips.

Review 41：The only difficulty with young children is not having a restaurant in the evening. A fridge in the room and a kettle may be a good idea. Alternatively ask Lorenzo for nearest restaurant or delivery service.

Review 42：Lorenzo, Stephania and their daughters went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. This is a very peaceful and friendly hotel. beautiful and very clean. They even posted us our passports to the next hotel as we forgot them. Lovely people. Gorgeous hotel.

Review 44：The hotel is a converted monastery/ farm house, very tastefully done. We had a very warm and friendly welcome from Lorenzo. Superb swimming pool and breakfast room. The nearby restaurant which we found was truly excellent. Excellent position for quick access onto the Autostrada. Pisa airport only 25 minutes away.

Review 47：Whilst in a semi-rural location, Ponsacco itself is not exceptional and the resort is some distance from the main town centre area. There is no restaurant on site and only one we saw within walking distance, so a car is essential to drive to find dinner. Though usually quiet and peaceful, there was a big party on one night during our stay in the function room, which was very noisy, but this did end by midnight.

Lovely pool and patio areas, though it was too cold for a dip whilst we were there. Staff/owners were extremely pleasant and helpful.
