Review 3：1. Money taken on Mastercard on day the booking was made giving no opportunity to have "free cancellation" if we wanted to. Staff blamed it on Booking.com but money was actually taken by Metro Inn.2. Extremely noisy with lots of loud conversations outside our door late at night. 3. Bed and pillows were the most uncomfortable we have ever encountered.

Review 5：Location was really close to my reason to visit Ryde. Room was clean, bed very comfortable and had everything I needed. Will be having to go to Ryde quite often and intend to stay on my visits.

Review 6：Clients are not able to check into their accommodation until after 2.00 pm. i realise that they need time to clean rooms. However there are times when I would like to get changed before a social commitment during the afternoon.

Review 8：Building dated, asked for room at back of building away from traffic noise, was given room upstairs closest to noisy Victoria Road. No lifts to 2nf floor and no assistance with luggage. Ok place but nothing to rave about.

Review 11：Room cleaning was slow and done throughout the day instead of in the morning. We had staff coming into our room at inconvenient times. Pool was disgusting, traffic noise was ridiculous and no Foxtel as advertised. Beds were painful. It's not a queen bed putting two single beds together.

Teaspoons available at breakfast bar wld be good instead of cheap plastic stir sticks. Its the little things sometimes...

Review 26：My work colleagues and I were staying for a seminar up stairs ,both got food poisoning from your restaurant. We ate there and 3 hrs later both had uncontrollable vomiting and diarrhoea . We then had to attend the seminar all day long feeling very unwell . So needless to say we will never stay again or recommend it to our colleges. I spoke to admission staff but nobody ever contacted me to find out if we were OK !!! We have reported it to the health department !!!

Review 36：When there was a power cut the Motel was not very organised for this emergency and did not offer any type of compensation for no hot water...no light from 3pm to 830pm...etc. The roads were gridlocked due to traffic lights being out also, so jumping into the car and going for a meal in an area with power was not an option.

Review 39：In the website quote you were able to make a request for having a room away from road noise. However, on the check in I was told that your request cannot be acceptable because you have booked for a discounted deal. The thing is that it should have been mentioned with the discounted deal (on the web) that this deal is only for road side rooms and you will never get a quite room. So, I had known it properly, I would not have booked it ever. Poor communication just to get the customer money and don't care if the customer will be happy for the money they pay is a very very big and unacceptable weakness of this place. Don't trust Metro Inn Motel.

Review 79：The Metro was a good one night stopover in Sydney. I booked a twin room for our two adult kids which was billed as a queen bed plus fold out couch. Nothing else was available. I was rung by someone from the hotel on the morning of our stay, and they gave us a room with two twin beds - much better for our purposes. The on site parking was brilliant, and the rooms were clean and neat. The free wifi was certainly appreciated. We also liked being fairly near to the ferry, which was a very pleasant and relaxing way to get to the city for the day. We would definitely consider staying there again.

Review 80：Count money by people and prepay whole money before arrived. Refused to use just toaster and microwave oven in apartment and all room don't have such simple tools. why?

Review 86：I currently have mobility issues and use a walker. I was not able to 'fit' the walker through the space at the end of a bed and the wall of the bathroom. Each time I needed to use it at the bathroom end of the room, I had to fold the walker, sitting on the end of the bed, and lift it over the gap.
