The effort and time that they go through to create absolutely delicious dinners of handmade breads, pastas and delectable food makes Casale Mariandre a very special place. The bnb is situated in the beautiful Umbrian countryside so peaceful and refreshing for the soul. Thank you Marike and Andrea for a wonderful stay..

Review 2：The interior of the appartment was old fashioned, but on the other hand that did fit in with the charm of the place.

The three dog , the first Pancho the Mastiffe "marvelliosi". He is a relax therapy. Beautifuél garden, good smell and tastes, Living in the air. Good grappa. Beautiful sightseing from the garden. Peace !! It' 10 pont for me plus bonus 0,3 for Pancho the living Mastiffe dog.

Review 11：The house is beatiful, the location fantastic and and Marika and Andrea (and their three dogs and cats) are wonderful, thoughtful hosts. After exploring Gubbio and the lovely countryside, after a swim in the pool, in the evening comes the real climax: Marika's cooking! She cooked us the best meal that we had in Umbria.

Review 13：We stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting the Gubbio festival. Andrea and his wife were amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. We arrived late and Andrea was waiting and showed us to our room. Would highly recommend. Great views

Review 14：This is a beautiful place on a hill overlooking the medieval city of Gubbio. The proprietors are friendly and helpful, and the two dinners that I had in their restaurant were excellent.

Review 15：The price was too high for the apartment. Needs a good overhaul. It was cold. It took hours to warm the apartment up- finally in the morning it got warm. The breakfast is only consisting of cake and sweets unless you pay more money! The mattress of the bed was not super comfy. The location was ok. Thy try their best but again for that kind of price we got better hotels and facilities!

Review 18：There was nothing we didn't like. Mostly Italian guests during our stay, so the first offering for breakfast was a range of home-baked tarts and cakes, but Marika was quick to respond to our request for bread, jam, eggs and ham. The traditional dining room was spacious with big tables, but could have done with a bit more lightness on the walls and colour, and maybe some soft music to enhance the atmosphere. But these are very minor points. The one night we ate alone, Marika arranged some music for us, responsive as always.

Review 19：Andrea and Marika were delightful hosts, friendly and helpful, and really wanted to please. Marika was an excellent cook (her range of antipasti were exceptional). The outside terrace, grass and trees with hammock, swing seat, comfortable chairs and, on bright mornings, our breakfast tables were superb, with stunning views over the valley to the hills and Gubbio, plus the good sized pool and loungers etc. Marika was happy to serve drinks outside at any time of day. Our room and bathroom were comfortable and well appointed. Parking also very convenient. The dogs and cat were gentle, well-behaved and often entertaining!

Review 34：Really enjoyed the rural relaxing location with the view of Gubbio in the distance. It was so refreshing to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the big cities and enjoy and appreciate Umbria and Italian culture. Our hosts were amazing and made our time so special. Marika is an amazing cook. Best food we had in the 3 weeks in Italy was here. If you can stay here, do so as you will not regret it. You do need a car though to get here, but that is a bonus as you can explore the other hill towns as day trips.

It is also a delight to have dinner at Casale Mariandre Country House. Marika is a great chef, who will serve you Umbrian specialties. We will definetely come back here. Un puro piacere!!
