Review 2：The hostess is a lovely, helpful and kind woman. The property could not be in a better location with shops and restaurants just steps away. It is not a traditional hotel the rooms are more like apartments. We came by car and gps got us close, the owner came down to the car and directed to the parking they have in the back, tight but manageable. Couldn't have been better.

Review 6：The owner was fabulous and was very accommodating with allowing us an early check in. The apartment is centrally located with everything you need close by, wonderful, bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc. We thoroughly recommend this place.
Review 7：The city does not have a grocery store, just a small market. We were traveling by public transit so going to chateau d'oex, while very close, was limited by the frequency of the train schedule. I should have brought more food so we didn't rely on being able to purchase food there.

Review 9：No bad experience at the Hotel but: first cafe at the marketplace (right on the corner) - server tried to short-change on payment of the bill. Brazen and unapologetic attempt at theft for which she probably is successful frequently enough. WIFI would be a welcome addition
Review 10：Very central to the old town and market. On a pedestrian walkway. Driving gets you close but the last meters must be by foot. Proprietress very welcoming, accommodating, and kindly showcased the redevelopment of an old family estate home into separate studios and apartments. Our apartment was spacious with good use of the area and doors to "contain" children and noise.

Review 12：Location just by the central market. It is in a historic building with a beautiful small courtyard. The apartment itself is modernized with quality and flair. It is spacious.
Review 13：We had to use the original apartment we had booked for our last night and unfortunately this was very spartan and did not have a fully functioning kitchen. The owners acknowledged that this apartment was not quite complete.
Review 14：The owners are delightful and helpful. We were upgraded for the first four days of our stay to a very comfortable apartment with a washing machine. Apart from having no large knives, this apartment was perfect, and I would recommend it to others.

Review 25：Owner is very nice. We had to call 20 min. Before arrival & we called them twice because we arrived later than we expected. They waited for us without problem. We have entered limit area for traffic by accident to reach the appartment & the son of the owner came to help us for showing the way. They have given us enough information what we can do & which Restaurants are good foods, not expensive. 2 Big bedroom, clean bathroom & washing machine, breads & some chocolate paste are on the table for the guests.
