Review 1：- location is outside the city and looks a bit abandoned (but it was raining when we came, so the opinion can be biased) - it would be nice to have something hot for breakfast and o bottle of water (or a kettle) in the room
Review 2：+ room with balcony + clean and comfy + nice staff + basic, but good breakfast (incl. cake) + bar open till 11 p.m.
Review 3：Actually there is only about 1 kilometer to porta selci from the hotel, which is not so far. Needed 13 minutes of walk including 100 steps at the end. Room was big and clean and breakfast way above italian standards. Taking in consideration good price, this is it. Be prepared for wifi, working only in bar and reception
Review 4：internet spotty, beds and pillows are very hard as in most Italian hotels, kind of tough to find, on the edge of Volterra.
Review 5：quiet location, away from busy downtown Volterra but close enough to walk, great breakfast, great inexpensive dinners (that's why we stay there), staff is very nice and helpful, easy parking. Nice views, we saw 3 deer outside our window.
