Reviews for B&B Il Vecchietta

Review 1:It's a fair ways off our walking trail through Italy, but the view was worth it.

Review 2:We received a gracious greeting and excellent information about the area. Grazie

Review 3:Nothing

Review 4:Il Vecchietta is a lovely place to stay. It is easy to park, the parking space is quite near Il Vecchietta. The room is simple decorated, clean and comfortable. And the room has beautiful window scenery. It has a beautiful garden, you can eat breakfast in the garden and enjoy the beautiful scene. The host and hostessmistress are very friendly and enthusiastic. They have 2 cats and 2 dos , the pets are very very cute. The host is very kind and helped us to take lots of wedding picture in the garden, the pets also joined our photo shooting. Besides, the host also showed us the wine he collected. Great place to stay

Review 5:Sylvia's cakes for breakfast were delicious and Arturo made sure we were given the opportunity to see the interesting sites in the area. Don't miss the Bagni San Filippo Hot Springs!

Nosotros volveremos

Review 8:We had two lovely rooms and a sitting room between us. The home is a delight and gave us a real Tuscan feel. Arturo and Slyvia were wonderful. The views were incredible and we were allowed to go watch the sunset on his property with our wine and snacks. He had a perfect spot with a bench. We had an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was the best on our whole two week vacation. Slyvia prepared a variety of cakes, cereal, and fruit. The table breakfast area is set up in a small and charming room with a view as well. It couldn't be lovelier. Thank you Arturo and Slyvia for our delightful stay and your tour of the stable winery and home. It was our favorite night and morning.

Review 9:That we only booked one night! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Review 10:This is one of the nicest placed we have stayed traveling and exploring Tuscany. Arturo and Silvie are friendly and gracious hosts. The Rocca is just a short walk away and the views are wonderful. Great experience!

Review 11:Owners really welcoming and passionate about their place. Nothing too much trouble, fantastic breakfast and views of countryside spectacular. Difficult to move on!

Review 14:location,comfortable,clean,very friendly,family owned,pets(they have cats and a dog),breakfast

Review 15:Hosts! Family atmosphere Location, view, room, breakfast...

Review 16:Very special place in a town lost in time... 12-13 century buildings and towers...pure magic. The owners are very nice and interesting people who really make you feel at home (including delicious cake in the morning) And!!!!! Poldo!!!! The cutest dog in the world!!! We love you so much! Thank you all!

Review 17:Fantastic family house to stay in Tuscany, great location, nice owners who are really welcoming and helpful. There's a wine cellar in the house (ask the owner for the excursion). Also, there are very friendly dog and 4 cats, all-around favorites. Superior views from the window at the hills and a nearby castle. Undoubtedly the best place to stay in the city!

Review 18:- great view from the window - very good location with a delicious trattoria nearby - helpful staff and a family atmosphere - loved the dog and the two cats

Review 19:parking is outside the village, but not too difficult, considering that the village is a rocca.

Review 20:Location in hilltop village, friendly and helpful owners, beautiful views of countryside, local restaurants, proximity to other attractions, excellent breakfast with home made cakes

Review 21:People considering booking here should be aware that it's difficult to find, and that the parking situation is a bit complicated. Also be aware that Arturo speaks some English, and Silvia (who you'll be dealing with for the most part) almost none.

Review 22:Sometimes it's hard to tell whether a B&B is closer to a private house, or closer to a hotel. This one is a private house, but the guest rooms are in their own separate area on ground level, while the personal living areas of the hosts are on the next floor up, so privacy is comparable to a hotel. The location is beautiful, with a postcard view of the "Rocca" out our bedroom window. Their garden is very nice, too. The hosts, Silvia and Arturo, were very welcoming, and even helped us make spaghetti sauce in their guest kitchen. Breakfast, with many of the ingredients made by Silvia, was excellent.

Review 23:beautiful location in unspoilt hill-top village hosts very friendly and civilised

Review 24:Very nice place in a fantastic location. Great views from the window. Nice owners and great breakfast.
